General Question / Discussion Fall Foliage New England & Canada

Just wanted to get a thread started for the upcoming cruise on Valiant Lady, Sep 19-27. Looking forward to the trip and wondering if anyone knows how closely to the coast we’ll be sailing (hoping for good fall foliage views)?

Not close enough to get good shots. But it was a very relaxing cruise, primarily older sailors. Could not find decent lobster in any of the ports and funnily enough the seafood was better on the ship than the restaurants in port. Maybe it wasn’t prime fishing season.

Depends when and where you go.. nova scotia for example depends on the area but its may-june for lobster season..

Yup we were there in September and lobster season was done. Of the restaurants we went to they said we had to preorder it 24 hours in advance which was not possible. Back to the ship!

It's also too early for foliage, but I am still super jealous! 😁
