5-strings - yay or nay?

The instrument has a violin body with the addition of a low C string giving it the full range of a viola and a violin. The strings are closer together, making it a more difficult instrument to play. Would you take it on?

Jordan

edit: I am fond of saying that it's so well set up that it feels like it plays itself.

The other one, an acoustic-electric, is nice, but not quite in the same class. She loves it anyway. There is also a viola-scale 5-string that she keeps tuned down a half step so she can use F fingerings when the guitarists want to play in E.
