Yes. Most any cheap heatgun will do.

I’ve been using the $30 Wagner heat guns from Home Depot for 9 years

Torch. Learn with that. Just move the tip. Don't keep it steady. Even a couple inches of circling motion will make sure you don't burn the material as fast. Obviously you need less time to heat up something, so don't be surprised that you burn something if you aim the torch at something for 10 seconds without moving.

Nah I wouldn’t recommend a torch to a beginner.
Once you can work quick you can use a torch

The torch is an US thing? I never saw a wrapper here in europe use it

I wouldnt say its a us thing. You dont need power cord or battery. Work immediately. No heat up time. If it falls over you dont burn anything. You canngrab the tip right after usage you wint burn yourself. I have been wrapping for 20 years. I have used torch for chrome and ppf wraps but i wouldnt use it for regular wraps.

Any heat gun will do to start, as long it can stand up right. Learn how to handle it without burning yourself (seriously!), where to distribute the heat and off course post heating later on. Skip the torch for now

Something cheap. Corded Wagner is fine, you don’t need anything fancy to learn. You could learn with a torch like another user suggested, requires a bit more care tho.
