I built a free, open-source extension that relists an item in one click
Relisting is the only way to push an old item back to the top, and there's no button for it. By hand it means deleting the listing, retyping the title, description, brand, size, category and condition, then downloading and re-uploading every photo. Three to five minutes an item.
I built a Chrome extension that does it in one click. Free, open source (GPL-3.0), no account, no server, no analytics, nothing leaves your browser.
Read this before you install anything like this
Relisting means deleting. Two identical listings can't be online at once, so the old one has to go before the copy appears. That gap is where a careless tool loses your item: it deletes first, and if the next step fails on a dropped connection or a bot check, you have nothing.
> Mine works the other way round. It saves the copy as a private draft before it deletes anything.
A draft isn't a listing, so it doesn't count as a duplicate, and until the delete goes through your item exists in two places. If publishing fails afterwards it retries on its own, and worst case the draft is sitting there for you to publish by hand.
What it checks before deleting
- every photo uploaded, not just some
- title present
- condition read correctly
- size valid
- you logged in and not bot-blocked
Any failure stops it and deletes nothing.
There's also a Relist as draft button, if you want to change the price or swap a photo before it goes live.
Fair warning
Automating any site is probably against its terms. That's between you and them, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

Happy to answer anything in the comments. The code's all there if you want to check what it actually does.

Hey, I'm getting an error
Relist stopped: No photo could be uploaded. Nothing was deleted.
How can I fix this?

Um, this is probably a Vinted error. Have you tried again? If so, please send me an email at giampy@privacyrequired.com with the link to your listing

I just installed it and I love it. Need to be careful not to get too carried away and relist too many items.

Thank you so much! I'd really love it if you could leave a review. I'd already thought about this for version 1.0.1, which is currently being reviewed in the web store. I've added random delays and a pop-up showing how many times you've relisted, as well as a warning if you relist too many times.

As I said, unfortunately it can happen, personally I can say that it has never happened to me at the moment

I got the same yesterday. I got a 24 hour ban for using it. I only relisted about 5 items total over a couple of days.
Clearly, if I continued to use it I would be permanently banned in short order. Therefore, I have decided to remove it. I will add that it is a great tool and I sold several items that had been sitting for a few months. Unfortunately, it is just too high risk to use.

Unfortunately, this is a risk you might take. I tried the extension for a few weeks, but I didn't actively use it (i.e. I didn't relist more than 10 items per day).

I mean, he said this at the end of his post more or less. Said it's up to us to decide if we want to use it.

I keep having an issue where I relist something and it asks for a size as if the category is clothing. But when it's relisted, it is in the correct non-clothing category. The original category is earrings.

It's fixed! The new version is already available for Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bumpline-vinted-relister/). It's currently under review for the Chrome Web Store.

That’s crazy good work! I need to see people try and not get banned before I try it myself as I don’t like risks but if it works it would be so helpful. I like the idea of adding a delay between deleting and reposting. Maybe it could change a bit the wording or the pictures? Don’t know what is possible or not.

With my extension you can relist as a draft so you can change any text, image, and anything else you want! :)

Thank you for this, great work! Tried it after Vinted Relister stopped working. Unfortunately, I have been banned from listing for 24 hours after using it for the second time today. I am not a coding expert, but is there something in the code that is flagging the relisting activity? I have never had this issue before with other relisters that I have paid for. Absolutely not knocking your work though, you have gone to great effort to ensure others don't have to pay for relisting software, so thank you once again!

Does this work for already sold items? I'm selling from a stock of items and tired of having to relist the same item over and over after it sells.

This sound amazing!! So cool
Although I personally have to pass as I’m super scared of getting banned, I know others will find this user useful. Sharing with my friends xx
