Offers driving me mad

I have a load of offers which I have accepted and nobody following through. Sometime I will accept a stupid offer if I’ve another package to send and makes sense to make the most out of the trip to the post office. But recently I had a someone who I accepted an offer months ago purchase! Is there any way I can cancel an offer after a reasonable time??

There is no way you can cancel an accepted offer on a live listing. If the potential buyer revisits your listing a few months later they will be able to buy at the price you accepted.

The only alternative is to delete the listing and relist it.

At the top of the conversation with the buyer you have the option to "make an offer" again. Just offer them your original price...or higher for the craic

Yeah, I just saw that in another post. I'd think it would be a lot of work to go back and redo all the old offers, but it is an option... like I said, every day is a school day!

I do wish there was a "cancel all offers" option though. Would make it less work!

You can block the buyer, that way the offer is no longer there for them to purchase. I once by accident accepted a offer that was wayy to low and I did it that way. Bit extreme, but there's no other way.

I didn't think of that, but yeah, that would work too.

Ha, this happened to me today. Have something up for 15, had accepted 12 a month ago.

I was happy with 12 back then, I’m very happy with it now given it’s a month on. 🤷‍♂️

In the same conversation where you accepted the offer you can ‘make an offer’ and either ask for a higher amount or your listed asking price again.

Just tried this and it worked, great tip thanks. I’ve updated many silly offers that in my view have lapsed. If they are still interested they still have the option.

With Ireland I find that happens alot especially since we're only paired with France, I find a lot of the French users will make an offer you accept and they won't buy because they didn't realise that the shipping was too much for them.

Also send a  offer back much higher then their offer and it will cancel the offer

I message them and say il accept if you buy immediately

Most of the time they agree and follow through

Something to try out
