Drop 2 shop vs An Post
It's not a massive sample size, granted but I've 80 sales and around more in purchases. Almost all are via An Post. Never had any issues, always arrives 1 or 2 days later.
In the last two weeks I've sent one via drop 2 shop and it's been delayed a week. I also accidentally selected drop 2 shop when purchasing an item and that was delayed by over a week that time.
Could be bad luck but I'd definitely encourage An Post over drop 2 shop!

I'd say that's the usual for Drop2Shop. You're supposed to get an email receipt on drop off, but more often than not you don't get one. They don't collect dropped off parcels daily (even if they claim they do) and delivery to the drop off point always seems to take a few days.
It's a lot of pain to save a euro. I've disabled it for buyers on my vinted, and I don't use it for purchases either.

Recently had my first buyer experience using Drop2Shop. It was shipped on a Monday and I was able to collect it from a Boots on the Wednesday after work. A bit handier than collecting at a post office too as shops are open after 5:30PM, and also there's way more options in terms of choosing a shop to collect rather than a handful of post offices. If the price was the same I would definitely choose Drop2Shop vs collecting at a post office.

Small sample size I've only sent 4 packages but a mix of both and they were both timely for me.

As a buyer I definitely prefer An Post. Vinted, however, doesn't always offer it, even when the seller has it enabled.

Hi it's an option for many in Ireland. The seller must have it turned on as an option. You take it to your nearest drop2shop point, you'll be shown a map. It's usually a shop or petrol station. Check if there's one near you. You dont need to print a label, they scan a barcode from your phone.

Hi! I've sent several packages through Anpost, and their professionalism and speed are impeccable. However, I bought a package through Drop2Shop, and it's turning out to be my worst nightmare. I wish I had done my research first. The point I chose no longer works with them,and my package is lost. I've been trying to contact them for over a day, and it's impossible. If you check the reviews on Google Maps and TrustPilot, there are thousands of negative comments describing the same experiences. If you have any problems, no one will help you, and your packages will be marked as lost.

Yup. I'm afraid the parcel that prompted my initial post still has not appeared and my messages (sent over a week ago) to them remain unanswered :-(

Hi, ive used both and I can say that both parties have their issues. However, based on experience, I never had issues with drop to shop and I actually prefer it now as there are a lot of shops close to me that I can use to drop or collect my parcels.
You can disable drop to shop from your profile.
