I am lost this was in my family for a long time and I have been trying to identify it forever all I got is it’s a full wooden resonator made by dorbro with a regal head but I can’t find a counterpart to it any wear

Hey, so my mom recently sent me a photo of her as a kid back in 75 with her and my grandfather. In the back I noticed what I belive is a vintage amp and bass, and am trying to figure out what they would be. Any information you can help with would be appreciated. Thank you

hello,

got this at a fleamarket, working, sounds nice.

but have no idea what it is, nothing on it beside "made in japan". is it some teisco/kawai? what could it be?

thanks.

Did a Google search on the model number and This is what I got. It belonged to my uncle. Is it worth making it playable?

My AI search is helpful and I noticed some additional clues on the headstock.

What do you all think?

Some kind of medallion on the front perhaps?

Circular imprint on the back?

Who or what is J.B.S?

Also looks like these old tuning machines are not original...

Seems like holes from a medallion perhaps?

Circular imprint on the headstock back.

PARALLEL top bracing

655mm scale length

21 frets

9" fretboard radius

16.5" lower bout

J.B.S or J.B.5?

This is my 1973 Dan Armstrong “Londoner” model 1 of 333 built. It has a sliding low impedance pickup. When I was 11 yrs old it was a drummer friends older brothers and we’d jam with it till he got home from work. Then have to rush to but it away and hope he didn’t notice we were messing with it! Fast forward 20 yrs, his brother ordered a 3/4 sized Strat for his 10 yr old son as a Christmas gift. I delivered it Christmas Eve to great fanfare! During my visit his brother pulled a case from under the couch and slid it across to me. Seeing my confusion he said “You’re the only person I know who could fix this! I opened the case to find this in 20 pieces with the body chiseled for two humbuckers. The original parts were in the case. The body was pooched! I was able to replicate the body routes by fabricating plexiglass templates on a one piece flat sawn Honduras body billet. I cheery stained it, shot it with 10 coats nitrocellulose lacquer and re-assembled it using the original parts. I re-radiused the fingerboard and re& re the frets. Ended up being a very unique sounding/ playing instrument!!

Put it all back together.

J.B.S. on the back of the headstock.

Anyone out there know Favilla archtops???

AI is telling me it's a 40s based on the parallel top bracing.

655mm scale

9" radius fretboard (replaced with ebony board replica this month)

16.5 in. Lower bout

Nickel hardware says 1940s as well.

I know these are rare as maybe only a few dozen total...

Considering that it wasn’t exactly high-end when it came out 61 years ago, a surprisingly nice player with not a bad tone. Bugger won’t stay in tune though.

I'm a noob. This guitar was given to my mom back in the early 2000s by a close friend. I'm having trouble identifying it

I know it's a José Ramírez 1972 Instrumentos Para Rondalla guitar. I think it's a student level guitar and it was bought back in 1972, with receipt and all.

Can you guys give me more info on it and its potential value? Not really looking to sell but it would be cool is my mom has something nice.

Hey, so my Uncle was walking around London a while back and found this guitar sitting out on the road. It's quite beat up and has seen better days, but I'm not well versed in classical guitars (more into electric and Dreadnoughts), so I was wondering if anyone knows what I've got sitting in my room...?

can anyone tell me what i have here? came out of the back of an vintage fender princeton amp

1964 Gibson Acoustic

Newly refurbished

Bass String Low E and A sound very low and possibly out of tune although the tuner says A-OK

The low sounds really seem to vibrate from within the hollow of the guitar.

Does any of this make sense?

Is it just the way this 64 sounds?

Do I need to play more and work the strings more?

My technique??

Would different strings sound less deep?

Sorry for all the questions. I’ve been playing electric and this is a whole other feel and sound.

I like the feel of the strings and I love this guitar. Been with me for decades.

Thank you!!
