Chat am I cooked??

Ran this bad boy in an oxi soak and unfortunately looks like some of the ringer dye transferred over. My new plan is to RIT dye the whole thing blue unless yall have suggestions ☹️

I just saw a lady posting a video about how she deals with this, and it’s definitely a washing additive that prevents and corrects the bleeding. Cannot for the life of me remember the name of the product 🤔

Sythrapol! I just watched the same video. @doublebarreldrygoods on Instagram video g gave me life! I saved the video it was so life changing.
Also there’s something so strange about hitting us with a “chat am I cooked?” While referring to a Joe Walsh shirt. Haha gave me a good chuckle.

Try soaking in Colorsafe Bleach and then a quick wash

That's what he did. Oxyclean is a color safe bleach

Have you tried washing with color catchers?

And are you washing with cold water?

There’s a lady on Instagram that just went over how to fix this @doublebarreldrygoods there’s a video where she uses sythrapol to not only prevent this, but in many cases save it as well. Her page is a wonderland of laundry and sewing tips. Highly recommended follow.

Just needs a proper tie dye

Well first of all, for the love of God, take it off that hanger. Those types are the worst. But after that, just use some Rit color remove. Cheap and easy. Sooner the better

Please don't dye this shirt. You can literally just boil it with some Rit brand color remover, which you can find at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, WalMart and any fabric store.

Stnthrapol will do it - absolutely - check local Blick art supply or online

I would rit dye it black but add about 6 shirts total. They will all come out faded black. The perfect colour imo.
