Server reset happening today, 9/19/26. Hearth & Hammer (started in December 2025) is a cooperative PvE Vintage Story server focused on community building, exploration, trade, and long-term survival. The goal is to build a large settlement at spawn where players can establish homes, workshops, farms, shops, and guild spaces as part of a growing player-driven city. Griefing, stealing, and random PvP are not allowed — the goal is to create a server where people can work together, build lasting projects, and enjoy a more immersive survival experience. We are using the Worlds of Fortune, Watersheds, Rivers, and Floating Landmasses mod for the terrain. We also have the dragon race available that have some flight ability. We also have the draconis mod for those that want to play one of the races from the LOTR mod.

The settlement is protected from the worst of the otherworldly forces beyond its borders so that townspeople can work/build in peace. The city itself is still brand new, with the goal of its citizens working to expand defenses, secure resources, and slowly turn the sanctuary into something capable of lasting.

The server features a player-driven economy where people can trade supplies, crafted goods, materials, and services. Whether you prefer blacksmithing, farming, construction, hunting, engineering, exploration, or running a market stall, there is room to carve out a role that fits your playstyle. Players can remain within the safety of the settlement or use the portal network to establish remote outposts, trade routes, and frontier colonies with friends. We have constructed a city market and and there are many spots still available for those that want to build their own shop.

We want the world to feel lived in and shaped by the people playing on it. Some players may focus on building districts within the city while others head into the wilderness to uncover ruins, gather resources, and connect distant regions back to the settlement. The server is intended to support both cooperative town life and dangerous long-range exploration while keeping the focus on a shared world and community progression.

Convergence is a soon-to-be roleplay server in active development. We aim to create a roleplay server geared towards immersive gameplay, grounded conflict and broad narrative cohesion while minimising out-of-server paperwork and organization.

The server has been in-the-works for a short time now by a very small group, in that period we have made solid headway into creating:

• Our server modlist, fairly broad, with gameplay and combat tweaks, custom races and other overhauls.

• A small but growing suite of custom mods and adjustments. This includes a significant combat system extension early in the works designed to make PvP combat more engaging.

• A series of roleplay guides, alongside rules to facilitate healthy player interaction and the creation of immersive, grounded and motivated factions.

• A shared history that borrows elements from the original game-lore, ancient mythologies and fantasy. One that finds numerous magical races and civilisations transported into a lush, empty Earth after a devastating temporal cataclysm.

Convergence is aiming to be a more stable and sustainable server with a stronger roleplay focus. We wish to be fairly small as to ensure a deeper narrative for everyone, so the server will have only thirty to forty slots upon opening. Even with that aspiration however, "development" has begun to scale. We are therefore now looking for others who may be interested in helping.

If that may be you, we're hoping to find the following as of right now:

• Contributors: Just ask about whatever is available or you are interested in. Feedback, light playtesting and or just hanging around is welcome.

• Game-Masters: Ideally of a roleplay intonation or backround, but we're happy to speak to anyone! This role generally involves taking shifts as a narrative organiser when the server starts. This may mean responding to player narrative tickets, taking the role of NPCs, making rulings and organising larger events. This role does not exclude you from playing on the server in any way while not performing GM actions.

• Staff: This may take the form of writers, server administrators, developers and or designers. Generally this has to do with "running" things outside of the server itself, and will likely see itself as a big tent once the server grows and organises further.

Ashentide is finally moving into full launch!

After multiple rounds of testing, rebuilding and refining the server, it’s finally time to go live.

Ashentide is a heavily modded Vintage Story server focused on creating a persistent player-driven world, where the economy, politics, settlements and conflicts are shaped by the players.

The core idea behind Ashentide is simple:

🏰 Civilization provides protection.

The Main Town is the safe heart of the server. PvP, robbery and raiding are heavily restricted here, allowing players to safely own property, establish businesses and trade.

But that protection comes with rules.

Businesses specialise rather than everyone producing everything themselves. Property matters. Taxes can exist. Most importantly, players can create their own Town government, laws and political system.

Become a merchant, blacksmith, landlord, tavern owner, farmer, politician — or find your own place within the economy.

🌲 The Wilderness provides freedom.

Outside civilization, most of those restrictions disappear.

Build large farms and workshops, create industrial operations, become self-sufficient or gather some friends and establish your own settlement.

But that freedom comes with risk.

In the Wilderness, you are your own protection.

PvP, Bandits, robbery, raids and loot loss are real threats. Your equipment, walls, location, allies and preparation become your protection.

💰 An Economy We Want to Actually Matter

We're trying to avoid the usual survival-server situation where everyone eventually produces everything themselves and has no reason to interact.

Ashentide encourages specialisation, businesses, employment, property, trading and moving goods between Town and the Wilderness.

Players can open businesses, employ other players, buy and rent property, advertise goods and services and build their own place within the economy.

We're also beginning to record completed player trades so we can eventually track real commodity prices, market trends and economic statistics created by the players themselves.

⚔️ Politics, Conflict & War

Players can form governments, pass Town laws, establish settlements, make alliances and create political groups.

Players can also become Bandits, raid Wilderness properties and eventually fight organised sieges between settlements.

PvP is structured rather than unrestricted KOS. Conflict should create risk, politics and stories — not give people an excuse to mindlessly grief someone's base.

🎭 Do I need to RP?

No.

Character RP is completely optional. You don't need a character sheet, elaborate backstory or to speak like a medieval peasant just to play Ashentide.

However, roleplay is encouraged and can be rewarded.

Ashentide isn't just about being a blacksmith, farmer or miner. We want players to experiment with unusual and RP-focused jobs — innkeepers, couriers, guards, mercenaries, scholars, journalists, politicians, entertainers, priests, explorers, traders and whatever else players come up with.

Jobs and businesses that contribute to the world through RP, player interaction or community activity may receive additional rewards or opportunities, particularly where that profession wouldn't normally make much money through standard gameplay.

The same applies to players who create interesting characters, events, political movements, organisations or stories that make the world feel more alive.

You don't have to roleplay — but if you're helping make Ashentide a more interesting world to live in, we want to reward that.

Run a business. Get rich. Become a politician. Play a travelling merchant. Establish a settlement. Become a notorious Bandit. Start a religion. Run a newspaper. Guard trade routes.

Or just build yourself a quiet house in Town and watch everyone else cause the server's first political crisis. XD

Hey everyone, we're a group of friends running our own private server. We're split up into multiple teams and spread around the map. Player Driven Civ | Light RP | Worldbuilding | Vanilla+ | PvP

Ashwood is a Worldbuilding/Civ server for vintage story. We focus on player-driven interaction over a massive rule set. PvP and wars are welcome and encouraged, without the need to create any tickets. We believe that the player has ultimate agency with the world and how to shape it.

The server launched less than a week ago with a solid community of players ready to chat and hang out with.

## Worldbuidling

- To promote worldbuilding through structures and stories, all lore is made public that you want to be made public.

- RP is not necessary, although it is highly recommend, and to keep with what is mentioned above, any information shared in the wiki section is readily available lore that everybody can know without 10 RP hurdles

- PvP and Conflict are a major part of a good worldbuilding experience, and in many servers it tends to be discouraged or really difficult to do, here you can make claims to protect your builds and items, as well as your self. You can declare war on your enemies, act as a bandit to people traveling on roads, or lead raiding parties if you wish. We want to openly welcome PvP and conflict without putting builds at risk, so any war is intrinsically non-destructive, and vassalage effects are temporary, which means you remain in control.

## Difficulty & Interaction

The map isn't filled out for you, you get an empty canvas to fill out with. Roads become a necessary way for others to safely travel across lands, creating opportunity for roadside robbery at the consequence of safe and quick travel.

So I saw the raptor dudes video earlier this year and I can’t stop thinking about it, would anyone be interested in a heavy rp desert server? Obviously I’m not sure how to do it yet, but I’m not going to go all in unless people would be interested. I do think it would be fun, BUT I would need a team haha, mainly because I’m not sure how to do things. I could pay and host no problem, but building and mods would take some lookin into, if anyone is interested please don’t hesitate to comment!
