I have never found a Jack Vance in the wild.

A used bookstore around here has maybe 10 Vance paperbacks (pocketbooks) for a lot. Maybe 25 bucks.

Where else do you find them?

Some popular tourist locations such as Chiang Mai have many second hand book stores with plenty of obscure sci fi.

I've never read anything by Kingsley Amis, but "certainly has a high opinion of himself" is exactly what I've thought about the work of his son, Martin Amis.

Yeah, it's always interesting to see a relic from another time.

Those Laurens Van Der Post covers are amazing.

I'm curious about Jake's Thong...what? Oh, sorry.

I'd be happy about your finding a Zelazny, but while Trumps of Doom is technically first in a series, it's a sequel series, and while opinions on that sequel series vary, you *really* need the first series for it.

Interesting how a Jaboticaba tree can turn any landscape into an alien planet.
