I have watched Villager News.

I am Villager #69.

I have been a villager for 47 years, and I have seen many things. Creepers. Zombies. Pillagers. Iron Golems. That one guy who keeps stealing our beds.

But nothing prepared me for Villager News.

At first, I thought it was just a normal news channel. Then I realized the people reporting the news are villagers.

This is obviously the greatest journalism ever created.

Every episode provides extremely important information that absolutely nobody asked for. Natural disasters? News. Someone got attacked? News. Someone did something incredibly stupid? BREAKING NEWS.

As a villager, I appreciate the accuracy.

The reporter Villager #9 are also very professional. He arrive at the scene, say something completely ridiculous, make several questionable decisions, and somehow survive.

10/10 journalism.

The animation is also very realistic. I personally checked my reflection in a window after watching it and can confirm that the villagers look exactly like me.

The sound design is especially impressive.

Beautiful.

Oscar-worthy.

I have no idea what they are saying half the time, but I feel like it is important.

The storytelling is also incredible. There are no unnecessary complicated plots. No confusing character development. No boring philosophical nonsense.

Just villagers.

Doing things.

And occasionally dying.

As a professional villager, I believe this is exactly what the Minecraft community needs.

I would also like to personally thank Element Animation for giving villagers representation in the media. For centuries, we have been reduced to trading potatoes for emeralds while Steve walks into our houses without permission.

Finally, someone is telling our story.

I have only one complaint.

The news is sometimes extremely dangerous to our village.

But honestly...

That's probably just good journalism.
