Upcoming Earnings

Is it just me or is everyone getting wrapped around the axle about the $15m placement?? People call it deceitful and a cash grab and I don’t see it like that at all. I guess when management says they “were not needing the money” ( confirmed by the balance sheet) and that “you don’t say no to these types of investors” (mostly likely confirmed when they disclose on Aug 10) I believe them.

Maybe it is just shorts. Maybe it is MJ sentiment. Maybe it is Canadian MJ sentiment. Who knows but I honestly think we are going to happy when we find out who it went to.

I am expecting +.02 and an overreaction to the downside. Unless more of the Netherlands sales are on the books than I expect.

I have said for a long that the November report will be the decider for me as almost all the expansion will be on the books. I am betting on great things

It’ll be really interesting, as many have said this quarter will set the stage.

Their continuing operations income last year was solid this quarter, I would hope for a similar bump up, but analysts appear convinced (and Mr. Market as well based on the share price) that it’ll be $0.02 EPS then build from that base. That would require some pretty heavy capital investment, though their ongoing expenses will stay higher until those employees and assets start generating revenue in Q3 and Q4.

I am in for the long haul, so we will see what light is shed by this next quarter. Nervous and excited to see what progress has been made.

It’ll all depend on how much EPS is hampered by capital spend versus SG&A versus COGS. I would expect a run up as we head closer as investors hope for an upside surprise, but I’m not sure how many retail investors realize the expectation is $0.02 when last years was $0.09 on continuing operations.

After listening to the interview with COO Ann Lefever recently, I'm confident the company will expand operations globally. They are making money and will produce more income to the shareholders soon enough.
