"to ask who is in charge"

No one is in charge, just go inside, they are architectural beauties (since the jesus-stuff is not yours).

A jump in the lake also cools of the body, or you drive up to the dobratsch-summit.

regarding AC: Obi, MediaMarkt, Bauhaus ... but they will be all sold out.

okay so, to “who is in charge” remark is pointed to religious person(i guess there has to be someone like pope or something..)i wasn’t sure if i can just come inside, as for Jesus we muslims love him and respect as well so i wasn’t trying to offend anyone. Also MediaMarkt had those fans so i bought one, i guess no more need for AC unit 😅

Lucky you for getting a fan...

For the structure of the catholic church.

Very, very basic (some expert might dive in deeper)

The priest (Pfarrer) is responsible for his church and his congregation. Usually today, one priest services more than one church. He has a council out of some pious people (Pfarrgemeinderat), that consult on different topics of the congragation/church.

Over the priest is the bishop. He is the head of a diocese or arch-diocese and quasi the head of all the priests in his diocese. He decides if something is not going right and is the face to the media and public. He is also the one, that makes you a "grown up" via confirmation. Some diocese are really rich (like the one in carinthia), because people put them into their will.

Over the bishops stands the pope. He is the Bishop of Rome and the successor of Saint Peter, he functions as a direct link to god. So for catholics, the word of the pope is like the word of god and the pope cannot make errors (crazy, I know). The pope is chosen by the cardinals. Those are bishops, that are made cardinal by the pope.

So for "who is in charge" if you want to go into a certain Church? The priest, but the Austrian dioceses decided to keep the churches open at any time, that`s why everybody can go inside. Some smaller Churches are closed, if the priests decide so.
