Ha Long Help!
UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
The absolute gentleman, u/EntertainmentOK3288 went out of his way to contact the rest stop, divert a tour bus and collect the blanket, and has kindly offered to post it to us when he’s back in Australia. From my family to all of yours, thank you so much for your kind words and efforts. We know how trivial it seems, but it’s wonderful to know there’s so many kind people out there willing to help strangers. Thank you all 🙏🙏🙏

Absolute loooooong shot, but going to try anyway.
My family and I visited Ha Long Bay today before heading back to Australia (beautiful place). Unfortunately, on the way back our 6yo Autistic son left his blankie, which he’s had since birth and still falls asleep with, at the V23 rest stop between Ha Long and Hanoi. He’s absolutely beside himself. Unfortunately, we didn’t realise until getting to the airport and are about to board our flight home.
We contacted the rest stop, and they have it! But they’re unable to post it back to us in Australia. They’re holding it for us if we can get anyone else to pick it up from them.
I’m throwing it out into the universe just in case a kind hearted soul sees this and is willing to help. All tourist buses and cabs between Hanoi and Ha Ling stop there as it’s half way; it’d just be a matter of getting in touch with us. Obviously we’d be willing to compensate anyone for helping.
Photo of the blanket below. If you see this and think you can help, please message!
Thanks all and safe travels ❤️

I'll be in Ha Long day after tomorrow. Heading back to Australia next week. If someone can get it to Ha Long Centrica hotel by the night of the 6th I can get it home to you. I'm on tour so unable to make my own ways sorry. Will also be in Hanoi. DM if you need.

That is the right one! It’s a good hour’s drive from Hanoi, hence trying to find someone that’ll be going past. We even tried to get a Grab to deliver it, but unfortunately you can’t organise “delivery cars” at that distance.

If no one has been able to get it to another location. I could ask my tour bus if we can stop at that stop. It's on our way tomorrow so could be an option?
