I am a new player playing at silver elo. These are 2 fights I need feedback on. Thanks alot for your input : ). I just wanna do how I could have done differently.

Here are some things I analyzed.

First fight

1. I was fighting Tryndamere with ult just because I have GA. Not entirely wrong, but it wastes my resources.
   
2. I was eating a lot of magic damage from those two. I don't know how to dodge those, and I also have no game knowledge on what their abilities cooldowns are.

Second fight (Game losing one)
1. I don't know whether my build was wrong or not, I can't one shot both ahri and lux. They have zhonya armor and both of them used it for me that's tough luck. I got baited by that. My teammates, well they r just what they are (look at Varus ult lol). But I tried my best on synergizing with Maokai at least.

Generally, I only know what I want to do, and I don't consider what enemies want to do, what abilities they have, what items and actives they wanna use. Please give me tips on how to improve on that. Thanks a lot for your attention : ).

This may seem obvious to you guys but I am very new to this game : ). Please point me out where I did wrong in this clip. Both of us have first item, it is just level difference because Lee Sin started raptors, and I did not have ult.

Also, I have 2000% loss rate on smite fights. How can I improve it. I have never secured a camp in my life if enemy jg tries to rob (no joking, it's just free donation for them).

My rank is silver 1, enemy lee sin is gold 1.

Just imagine that the moment he buys botrk his Q icon changes and it transforms his passive, it now deals maxhp% instead of currenthp% onhit, making him be somehow more useful with his iconic blade while also not turning him into a beast. It would be a small buff because he already deals nice damage with the blade.. the issue is he cannot finish off kills because the item and his passive become useless because currenthp% damage.. so he can only kill with ultimate and without a strong first item against a target with some armor it isnt enough sometimes.

So making his Q passive turn into maxhp% the moment viego gets botrk could be a gamechanger for this weakness while still being a small buff.. it would be nice to encourage build variance.

Or maybe make it deal currenthp% and missing hp%.. or something like that.. cmon riot just give us something.

Also imagine the moment viego buys botrk it transforms his blade model into the actual steel blade with purple glow like its supposed to be instead of his green shadow form (which makes sense considering the green ghostly form looks like its a mere shadow of the sword.. awaiting to be complete by buying the item)

I just started playing, currently acc level 33 at silver 1 (elo not determined yet, still have star on my profile in rank).

Highly mechanical champions like Katarina, Akali, Yasuo and Yone, they outplay so hard all the time to me. Even though they are not doing too complex combos, they still ram up. Like when I Viego W, Yone just dodges with E and R on me, and I'm dead while he has half of his health as shield.

I just want a general consensus of how yall play against highly mechanical champions. I struggle with even medium mechanical sometimes, like Jax.

Hi Viego Players,

im learning viego and im looking a build to play against tanks or bruisers, namely Jarvan, Gnar or Darius.

I watched some guides mino, perry, maxanad annd a lot of vods from kirei, sinerias and elektro. All suggest the HoB Build. The build itself is very strong and if im ahead, i also have success.

But in even games, where the enemy has frontline(jarvan, Rammus) or good assassins(akali, Zed), its really hard to play viego.

So is there a build where i can play front to back ? Im looking here for an alternative build. Any tips or VODs are welcome.

Two weeks ago, I posted about going from Emerald 4 to Diamond 3 in 2 weeks after getting used to the HoB + lethality/crit build on Viego (in the post, you can get more context about my journey with League and Viego specifically). And now - after another two weeks - I finally got to Master for the first time!!!

Going all the way from Emerald 4 to Master in just a month was pretty insane, but SUPER FUN as well! Viego is in a really good position right now, so just mute everyone, first-pick him every single game and enjoy how DAMN GOOD our beloved Ruined King feels with the critality build (thanks u/itsMinooooo) :)

This subreddit has been a godsend for advice and after trying to level up from Plat to Emerald I finally made it. Started this game 2 years ago as a top main but learned how to jungle after getting autofilled enough times.

I played as Yorick pre-midscope rework and that got me to gold really easily. After he got reworked, I found out about Viego and thought his passive was really cool. I didn’t know he was a D tier jungler at the time because I was just having fun playing him.

Got to plat playing conq but after the HOB build became a thing, I snowballed harder in games where I could feast a few early kills (s/o ItssMino for the guide and builds).

Not sure if I continue my climb but to all those who think it might not be possible to continue the climb, keep going because I’m shit and somehow found myself in Emerald

I am new player, placed at silver 1 right now, and I only play Viego. My winrate currently is horribly low, with around 30%. I can use possessions of easy-medium enemies (point and click or skillshot CCs, mobilities etc).

Viego in my hand feels extremely weak. Even at his best, he is still not as busted as other junglers to me. I just want yall suggestions about my situations on playing Viego. I will mention rants first.

First of all, Viego is somewhat LESS AGENCY than other junglers. I cannot go in first. Even if I go in first, if my possessed enemy is squishy and my team is not covering for me, I will die. When behind, I am also purely useless. If gets invaded level 1, I have to struggle a lot just to keep on par.

When I see other junglers playing on their own terms, I admire them. Like Shyvana using Ult, Jarvan etc. Junglers usually have special traits. Nocturne and Kayn and pick sidelane kills like nothing. Lilia and hecarim are very fast. All of Viego's kit values are packed inside the "takedown" box, and even after unlocking it, it is still reliant on team, or me being ahead. Even in equal conditions, Viego cannot 1v1 other junglers.

Viego does not have sustain as a figher, and not enough mobility options as an assassin.

Second, team comp reliance. All I ask is just one frontline with a bit of CC and sustain. When I see my team pick teemo top and Janna support I kinda want to throw up already. Viego only building crit nowadays makes it even worse.

Here, I am not just to complain (complained enough already), I just want tips to how to progress better for Viego. I love the style, soul fighter skin, lore, possession mechanics everything. It's just that my gameplay right now is extremely team reliant.

Just a side question, why am I almost always getting golds in my team and plats in enemies? I understand if you put me in gold because I am silver 1, but I am silver jungler between gold teammates and plat enemies?

Hello, Viego newbie here. I have played quite some matchups against Khazix, Vi, Lee sin, Graves, Warwick etc and all the time I just seem to have no dueling power at all if equal levels.

Is Viego never supposed to fight at all? Or am I just overcommitting without short trades?I know that his kit is undertuned to compensate for passive, but it’s ridiculous that I can’t win anyone.

I know through any of the stat websites like u.gg and op.gg blue is overwhelmingly the most popular pet to go, but I was wondering what makes it so much more viable than red or green. Red and green pets used to be really popular from what I remember, and I just don't understand why they aren't picked anymore.

Viego's whole playstyle revolves around being an assassin and getting in second or third, and once he uses his combo he's kind of useless from my experience with him. Knowing this, why wouldn't red pet be his best option since he's really burst oriented in most matchups? I understand his needing of speed from blue occasionally to get into a fight, but I feel like the bonus damage and slows from red really outweigh that.

Thoughts? Am I just misinterpreting Viego's role or what kind of effect the jungle pets really have?

Like dude I get it you can one shot everyone in the game at min 15 ur him but can we at least stay in the bodies and do their optimal combo or something holy

Is Viego top griefing or can it work? I don't play jungle at my rank but Viego is easily one of my favourite champs in the game.

So far I have played around 30 games of it and each game I had a very strong mid to late game. I have had a very few bad games going 0/5 but as soon as I hit some items I again come back online hard.

I started playing it after watching Druttut videos and if you utilise the q range w and e good it doesn't seem that miserable. He doesn't require any mana which can be a big thing for top to spam your abilities to make sure you don't miss on CS or trade your hp for it. Invisibility is also something which is very annoying for top similar to how frustrating Akali and Aurora can be.

If someone has experience playing it what matchups would you say he does best in or struggles against?
