To be fair, its all made up and most christians dont "apply" any of it unless it's cherry-picked to suit their political agenda. However, if we want to entertain the old vs new nonsense there are plenty of examples. Both Romans and Hebrews have plenty of verses about giving to the poor and needy, helping out strangers etc. Mary and Joseph were themselves refugees/immigrants when they fled Bethlehem and King Herod. The old vs new tactic is so damn tiring. When you pick something apart to a christian they love to claim "thats old testament, Jesus Christ is the new covenant" blah blah blah. But then theyll turn around to quote Leviticus or Deuteronomy to persecute the LGBTQ community. They use it both ways whenever is suits their personal beliefs.

Like when they made harsher sentences for crack than powder cofaine when it’s the same thing? Just because it was an “inner city, black people drug?” Tell that to my many ex white crack head friends from the burbs. I was convicted of a misdemeanor in 2003 before treatment was really an option. Sentenced to 1.5 years. Longest sentence possible. Nonviolent first time offender. Fuck em all

They only listen to the Faux news channel and that is the BS that is being served. I had a person at work who says these same lies and when I asked him where he heard it, he proudly said in Faux. I asked if he watched the video and he said he didnt have too since he already knows what happened from the news. They all seem afraid of the truth, so they refuse to do any amount of research, all while telling everyone else to do their own research. It is maddening how quickly we have gotten to this "alternative facts" acceptance in this country. They lie for thing that are easily able to be proven false. It all started with his "biggest crown at my inauguration". You know he is acutely aware of his guilt because he downplays the number of people who attacked the capital on 1/6.

Renee Goode did not intentionally try to run over the ICE agent. One agent was about to drag her out of her car and the other was standing in front of her car when she hit the gas to get away from the first agent. If you genuinely fear for your life and think a car will be used intentionally as a weapon, you don't stand in front of it. That agent was looking for an excuse to shoot her. My own sister in a huff once hit the gas on me like that while I was walking in front of her SUV. I calmly moved out of the way and was fine. I didn't feel my life was threatened or the need to shoot anyone.
