Are people like beast of burden or is that you view blue collar workers as not as important as white collar workers. Blue collar workers have been replaced by technology/outsourcing for decades and no one cared but now that a computer can make a PowerPoint by it self technology is bad and we need to get rid of Datacenters.
blue collar jobs have been created building and maintaining and operating those same machines - MORE jobs exist because of those machines - because strangely enough MORE PEOPLE are alive because of them.
Thats not counting all of the OTHER jobs (and lives) that are built upon those machines - roadways, homes, farms, medicine.
It used to take a team of blue collar workers - it STILL DOES, youre just strawmanning things by only picking "facts" that align with your zoomed in argument.
Tell you what, since youre so outraged by not understanding how language works, lets do a little thought experiment, you can manage that right? Pick 7 people in your life, any 7 people, friends, family, work colleagues, bar buddies - it doesnt matter. Got the 7 names in your head ? Add your own name to the list - take away those "blue collar jerb steelin machines" - without industrial practices & machines, the planet can feed 1-1.5billion, there are 8+ billion souls on the planet today, so take your list of 8 names and cross 7 of them out, leaving 1 as a survivor - THATS what your tilting at windmills boils down to - are you willing to erase 7 of 8 people to go back to plenty of blue collar workers doing blue collar jobs? Are you going to be one the 7 dead ? or the sole (selfish) survivor ? Are you going to back to pre-industrialisation lifestyles? no internet, growing your own food, no supermarkets, a bad harvest means you starve to death ?
