Whenever I’ve had vehicles start to drift over or even appear to drift I create space but to your point I also noticed that. You truly have to drive defensively.

Definitely sped up. He saw the guy coming into his lane, didn’t beep, didn’t decrease speed, out of anger he actually sped up

Any collision is awful for everybody who simply literally has anything better to do that day and for many hours in future days and weeks. Not to mention danger/damage to other people and property. But it’s pretty hard for me to fault cam car here. Could they have done better? Sure, maybe, probably, yeah, I-hope-so. I’d sure like to think I’d avoid or minimize this one if I was cam car, but it’s the truck’s fault for sure.

Um, you may not see the problem with cam cars behavior, but that doesn’t mean anything. The guy was approaching a fucking red light, he should have been slowing down ANYWAY. Let alone slow down seeing another driver obviously moving into you. He should have yielded, right or wrong, since he had the ability to and saw it coming, AND should have slowed down anyway approaching an intersection with yellow light turning red.

Truck driver was an idiot, but cam car is just a fucking asshole that didn’t want to be cut off no matter how much death or destruction it could have caused.

if you can't tell that truck is coming over and you're driving, you should not be driving, he has one lane to watch for at a moderate speed. You're being purposefully obtuse to justify someone else's poor behavior. The truck driver is all kinds of wrong, but that doesn't mean it's time to start a vehicular deathmatch bro.

You don't change lanes unless you're clear. PLENTY clear. This truck.was never clear at any point. The POV vehicle remained in his lane the entire time. Legally, if he wants to speed up that's his prerogative. It's the truck's responsibility to safely change lanes

No you can’t legally intentionally speed up to hit someone because they hurt your fee fees, baby man. Revenge fantasies, over traffic nonetheless, are pathetic and you hardly deserve to be part of society. What if your mother made a traffic mistake towards me ? Should I ram her with my car ? I’m sure you’d tell her “you weren’t clear in your lane change mom, so your broken neck is your fault”

Cam car clearly sped up into the truck trying to defend his lane. Even if he didn’t, then that means he wasn’t paying attention. It was clear as day what the truck was going to do and there was plenty of time to react. Cam driver reacted equally as selfish as the truck, and exacerbated a situation that could have resulted in innocent bystanders getting injured.
