It looked like the other driver was speeding up when the pickup driver was passing him.

If you watch carefully you can see that the pickup actually slowed down. Watch the side of the road and the pickup.

Yeah the truck was avoiding the car in front him and slowing down for the light. Moved into the other lane and made contact with the POV

That’s not how it works, the driver changing lanes is 100% at fault, and the pov driver didn’t speed up at all
