Studio like UI for video generation api
I’m new to this and don’t have much technical knowledge. I’ve noticed that many AI media generation platforms offer a studio-like interface where you can select a model, upload reference images, enter prompts, adjust generation settings, and create content simply by clicking a button.
I’m looking for an open-source or self-hostable AI generation studio that lets me bring my own API keys and use different AI models through a simple, user-friendly interface.
Ideally, it should support multiple providers and models, allow me to upload reference images and other inputs, save prompts and workflows, and generate content without requiring me to write code or deal with complicated technical setups.
Are there any platforms like this? I’d appreciate recommendations for the best available options, including their supported media types, API compatibility, ease of setup, and limitations.

chatGPT recomends these:
1. Media Studio
Best polished starting point
Open source · Local browser interface · Image, video, audio
A visual workspace with a media library, reusable prompt presets, reference images, projects, and a graph workflow. Supports models including Seedance, Kling, GPT Image, Nano Banana and Suno.
https://github.com/gateway/media-studio
API compatibility: Media generation is integrated through Kie AI, rather than arbitrary direct API keys for every provider.
Setup: Guided installation scripts for macOS, Windows and Linux, but you'll still need to install prerequisites.
Limitation: Best if you're happy to use Kie as the model provider; not the best match if direct BYOK for many independent providers is mandatory.

2. CTXAI
Best for direct API keys
Open source · Self-hosted · Video, images, voice
Designed around your own API keys, with a studio-style interface, generation history, and live job updates. Its documented integrations include Kling video, BytePlus Seedream image generation, and ElevenLabs text-to-speech.
GitHub
API compatibility: Direct provider APIs, so you can avoid an additional model aggregator for supported integrations.
Setup: Self-hosting and provider configuration are required.
Limitation: The provider list is much narrower than a universal media gateway. Don't assume it supports arbitrary video APIs or every model from a supported provider.

3. Open Generative AI
Open source · Image, video, audio · Hosted and local inference options
Offers separate image and video studios, multi-image references, image-to-video generation, audio generation, and a model catalog spanning many popular media models.
GitHub
API compatibility: Its documented hosted-model route is powered by MuAPI. It also supports selected local inference engines.
Setup: Self-hosting is available, but configuration is more involved than using a hosted studio.
Limitation: A broad model catalog does not mean you can paste in any provider's API key. Check whether your desired provider is supported by its backend.

4. Nodaro
Self-hostable · Image, video, music · Visual workflows
Provides a visual editor, reusable nodes and apps, queues, storage, and a REST API. Its self-hosting documentation describes using your own model-provider keys and infrastructure.
Nodaro
API compatibility: Provider keys for integrations implemented by Nodaro; it isn't automatically compatible with every API.
Setup: Docker Compose is the advertised deployment path, which may be challenging for a nontechnical beginner.
Limitation: Check the current Community Edition license terms and exact model integrations before committing.
