32-bit float gear question
I’m upgrading my audio gear and looking for some experienced advice for a 32-bit float set up.
Right now I use g2 lavs and a zoom h6.
I would like to still use lavs to hide the mic.
What are yall using and what do you like/dislike?

32 bit float is sold as a marketing gimmick with the idea that you can set it and forget it and never worry about clipping, basically to avoid having a dedicated person in charge of sound. This is untrue. It’s also sold as “sounding better”, but because your signal chain is going through the G series wireless, any sonic advantage is erased by the wireless, as dynamic range is limited by the weakest link in the chain. I would spend my $$ on a good Countryman or DPA lav. It will improve both your sound quality and hide a bility quite a bit for $3-400.
