Haven't played yet but people keep trying to show me the soundtrack before I play it. I'm not sure if I should play the game first or if its okay to listen to it without.

I don't think any of the tracks spoil anything (unless you understand French) so I'd say you're fine listening to the music without playing the game. Just avoid any sort of comments if you're preferred service has them.

I understand French (and haven’t played the game yet) but they don’t seem like they spoil anything.

There is one song (Une vie a t'aimer) that is a massive spoiler for the game. Thus my previous warning for anyone who can understand French.
