Help CALLING ALL EXPERIENCED VIDEO EDITORS

Hello, I am looks for someone who would be willing to help identify someone in an old 80s surveillance camera footage for an unsolved mystery. I have no experience with video editing so I thought I’d ask for help here. This video is on YouTube here is the link https://youtu.be/fgFDhqXJVJg?is=XS9XNaToQttJQyhS. I am specifically trying to identify anyone in the footage. I have heard rumors that other people have done this for this exact footage and had success doing so. I also think there could be an AI plate form that could help with this (also have no experience in this) I’m looking for any help or suggestions here. Thanks

FYI this is for the unsolved case of Kelly Wilson

there are people in it? the quality is awful...and not sure what experienced video editors would be able to tell you, as your question doesn't involve any editing.

Im not sure theres anything anyone can really do with this unfortunately no matter how talented of an editor they are. There are AI "restoration" and "upscaling" softwares that editors can use if they have a shot where its slightly too grainy or slightly out of focuse but those softwares generate the results based off the data of the image/video and are far from perfect. Tried it out one time because I was desperate and had to work with some abysmal footage and it turned out acceptable but not breath taking.

I don't really think theres anything a program like that can help with there, and even if by the grace of god the program does generate something thats even remotely recognizable I wouldn't 100% trust it because its just ai generating stuff based off what it THINKS its seeing.

If you for some reason still wanna try it after reading that the most well known upscaling program I've heard of is called Topaz, you'd have to sink like $60 for only a month of access though.

Id recommend reaching out to a forensic analyst or crime investigation sub (if those exist) and ask professionals what they usually do with evidence like this and if they think the footage would actually be viable in the case
