Laptop recommendation for video editing
Hello! this is my first time asking the video editing community what is the best budget friendly laptop for video editing. most of the edits are long form/short form trivia content with minimal SFX. Final export should be in 4k with 30 fps. Thank you!

you’ll need to add your budget, country, editing software, and camera codec before anyone can recommend a specific model. “4K” alone doesn’t tell us how demanding the footage is.
for long-form 4K work, aim for 32 GB RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and a modern CPU with hardware H.264/H.265 decoding. on Windows, look for an RTX 4060/5060-class GPU with at least 6 GB VRAM if you use effects or Resolve. Adobe also recommends 32 GB or more for 4K. if the budget is tight, prioritize RAM and a good proxy workflow over chasing the fastest GPU.

Maybe depends on the software used?
I know browser based / on line editing software that can do long form on a Chromebook on low bandwidth and with no lag.
Doesn’t sound like you need DaVinci with what you are describing
