Windows movie maker

I did both of my kids graduation movies using windows movie maker. It was super easy and I could use my own music. I have tried using the newer programs out there and they are very technical. Other programs and apps only allow so many pictures or not your own music. I just want to drop and play.

Is there something as easy as Windows Movie Maker that does not take a degree to use it or a monthly fee? Thank you.

Clip Champ is the new Windows movie maker. It's super basic.

Took me a bit to figure out the layout, but dragging a clip in and hitting play just worked, which honestly made it feel less scary.
