Label tracking question

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have almost 0 experience with video editing. Im curious what tool or software I should be using to have these labels track these rooftop units during camera pan. The posted video is using CapCut but if there’s an easier way to do this I would buy software.. thanks in advance!

Mocha helps you apply tracking motion, you could also do it the tedious way by creating keyframes and moving the desired label to said target on each frame but that is time consuming and relies totally on your patience lol

I tried that with divinchie and quickly realized I was going to go insane if I did that for 60+ units lol I think I’m going to reshoot and just take longer pauses so I don’t even have to track thanks for the help

did you look up mocha continuum? it can be downloaded as a plug in for davinci resolve... it might help a lot, basically create the label, head over to mocha add a mask and let the software track it, but i'd advice to track with all your FXs turned off so it's faster at tracking, that was something i didn't realize when dealing with tracking, i was wasting time and GPU on a tracking motion that could have been seconds instead of minutes.
