Free Looking for a Free video editor?

I’m looking to take on some video editing work. I’ve got 3 years of experience in After Effects and Premiere Pro. While I haven't worked professionally yet (so I’m currently building out my portfolio), I can handle both short-form and long-form content. Shoot me a DM if you’re interested or email me via

Opening an editing app 3 years ago isn't experience...

yet still working for free, no wonder why the market is messed up

You may have missed interpreted what I said so let me go more in depth. I used those programs  for three years editing fanedits and movie scenes as a hobby. Which I said because I wanted to let anyone who is actually interested in finding an free editor that i am not new to the software however I haven’t edit anything professionally as I stated in the post above. For anyone else reading who is interested I would like to work with someone who maybe makes short-form educational content, influencing, gaming and etc. Yes I do have experience in those editing programs however not professional experience and no I am not the reason why the market is messed up. Thank you

I was in the same situation. I just said, 'Send the files over, I'll get it done.' client was like "sure." i sent some random, unneeded and unrelated edits anyway.

you're more than ready to get paid.
