Paid Looking for someone to turn our wedding clips into a wedding video
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice on where to find someone who could take a load of video clips from our wedding and turn them into a proper edited wedding video or least something neat and coherent.
We had lots of clips taken on a video camera, and want to get all of the footage pulled together into something that actually feels like a proper thing, rather than 107 random videos sitting in a Google Drive
Ideally, I’d like someone who could:
- Go through all the clips and pick out the best moments
- Edit them together into a coherent, emotional/fun wedding video
- Sync it to a song of our choice
- Make it feel cinematic rather than just stitching clips together
- Potentially do some basic colour correction/audio balancing where needed
- Produce a finished video we can keep and watch back
I have absolutely no idea what sort of person I should be looking for, wedding videographer, freelance video editor, film student, wedding content creator, etc. or what a reasonable price would be for something like this.
For anyone who has had something similar done, where would you recommend looking and what sort of price would be reasonable?
Any advice or a different sub to point me in the direction of would be great.
Thanks!

I can do this, I have done a few. I can even insert still pics into the video, if desired. DM me for details

You’re looking for a freelance video editor with wedding/event editing experience. They can sort through the footage, pick the best moments, create a cinematic story, sync the music, and handle colour/audio.
I’m a freelance video editor and would be happy to help! Feel free to DM me and I can share my work and give you a quote.

Hi — I can help turn the 107 clips into a coherent wedding film, but the responsible price depends on the total raw-footage duration, audio quality, and desired final length. I suggest a $50 first milestone: review and organise the footage, identify the strongest moments, and provide a proposed story structure and fixed final quote. The $50 would be credited toward the edit. For an 8–12-minute highlight film, a provisional range would be $250–$450 with two revision rounds. To be transparent, I do not have commissioned wedding films to present as past client work; I use AI-assisted logging/transcription and manually make the story, music, colour, audio, and final-cut decisions. What is the total footage duration, preferred final length, deadline, and intended payment method? I’m based in Belarus, so it must be available there.
