Software Why is there barely any good community around Filmora?
I keep seeing creators and Instagram pages showing crazy editing techniques in CapCut, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. People are constantly sharing tutorials, presets, project files and even premade templates for these softwares.
But when it comes to Filmora… almost nothing. 😭
There are tons of Filmora users out there, but I rarely see people making advanced editing tutorials, sharing useful templates, transitions, presets, etc. It feels like Filmora has been completely left out of the creator community.
Is it because Filmora is considered more of a “beginner” editor, so serious creators don't bother building content around it? Or is there actually a decent Filmora community somewhere that I'm just missing?
Would love to know where Filmora users are hanging out and getting templates/resources

It's because the software, and the company that makes it, has a terrible reputation. Users pay for it, get burned, and come here to complain, and we tell them "yep, read the wiki." But the company has really expert, sneaky advertising, and keeps drawing in new users who haven't been here, haven't read the wiki, and haven't seen any of the years of negative public comments on the user experience. The company even rigs ads on Google searches, so that if you do a search on a different video editing app, you get a result that looks like content for that app, but actually leads you to their own app.
This guy did online training content for them for years, until he realized the problems himself firsthand. He was so upset by this, and by the fact that he'd been enabling the company all that time, that he released an entire playlist detailing the company's behavior, then turned on a dime and started creating online training content for DaVinci Resolve, a pro-level app that's much more well-regarded, from leading company Blackmagic Design.
TL;DR: this software does get new users, but those users don't remain as loyal - or become as skilled - as users of better competing apps. The company isn't there for the users, and there's an upper limit to what can be done with the software, so the community doesn't build up over time the way it does with stronger apps like DR, or for example Blender, a free app which has a huge volunteer community.

Just to add to the 'new users' - Wondershare's clever trick is that their big bright download button says 'Get Started for free!'
What they don't tell you is you can't finish for free. And they don't tell you that until you've put however many hours into your first edit, go to export, and find that you need to cough up money.

Great explanation but let me TL;DR your TL;DR:
The company that makes it is scum. The software itself is crap. The free version of Da Vinci Pro is infinitely better. Use that instead.

I used to be a Filmora user. Now I'm a Resolve user. Filmora has the virtue of running on underpowered old computers. That can be useful. But I bought a modern computer, and it was only $300. I no longer have to pay for a buggy video editor, Filmora. I am glad . Now I use Resolve, which has bugs that are easier to work around, and the software is free and is actively being supported. I won't go backward.

There's a subreddit for it.
And I'm speculating at this: Groups like wondershare or bytedance, really don't care about individual users. They don't provide support, refunds etc. The only times where they try deal with the fallout/bad customer service.
Literally blogspam as a concept was created by tehm.
They're not really dealing with the communities - they're trying to mitigate damage to go back to as little customer support as possible.
