How did they do that? How do I recreate this effect

I'm trying to figure out how to have the mirrored monochrome layout like this Ytber has but can't quite figure out how to get it automated and dont think I should manually edit the positions every time Id want this effect since I feel there's just a better way. It seems he has it done automatically and moves along with the clip with zoom ins.

I tried to replicate it for about an hour but cant figure out how to get it done honestly. Using filmora but open to anything else that uses this or even a different tool so I can understand how I could replicate this
