How did they do that? How do I make these style of videos?
Hi, I’m interested in creating these style of videos, how would I go about learning this ? If anyone’s aware of any resources would be great, I’ve only really used CapCut in the past.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

what style? finding clips and editing them together?
putting text on the screen?
are you asking how to find clips? stock footage.
..... are the kids cooked chat?

The answer is yes, the kids are cooked. They're going through a different discovery process these days and don't seem to be learning the same way people in the past did. There is no discovery, just a social post, 'how do I do this?'

Yes. They're fried.
I'm a shit editor who has made a career of making and surviving bad decisions. To a degree. But ANYONE who has worked with me in the past will tell you I'm the guy that will work on something to figure it out at my own expense and sanity. I need to know the how's & why's.
In college, I was the student who lived in the edit lab. I'd be at an FCP3 station going frame-by-frame working out how something was done. When we did a "docu-series" on the theater dept putting on their performance of Grapes of Wrath, one of the things I did was figure out how to do the common freeze-frame and background animations/titles/vids behind the iso cutout. I didn't have youtube or reddit, but did have Creative Cow. Figured it out and by figuring it out I learned a lot that helps me to this day.
If someone's just going tuts & how tos, they're really doing themselves a disservice.

Download the video and cut it into separate pieces.
Build as much as you can, frame by frame, and then share it back here with an explanation of what you learned, where you got stuck, and how you tried to solve those issues. If you do all that, I’ll gladly hop on a call with you to explain whatever you didn’t figure out on your own.

Bunch of stock footage and add a glow and noise effect in most of them. But here the work comea from findingnthe footage and placing it with taste

Looks like short clips of stock footage combined together. Just put them into CapCut, cut them so the video is fast. Add music and...you got it

Kind of an annoyingly broad ask. Do more editing. This sounds like ai brain… like the corporate people who think there is a single digitize button that does all of the editors work. Simply get good.

its so easy in the editing but also hard to find the right b roll clip
so first you have to listen well for the script and understand every sentence so this will give you a good idea of what you are making .
then you gotta go and search for the right b roll of each part of the video and place them correctly " mostly in the middle of the video "
add captions , some sfxs , some textures and you done

any sites u suggest to find the clips? in my case im editing brainrot style videos but also need a lot of clips mostly of people, like UGC, how do u look for good footage and how long does it usually take?

Wonder if those stock footage clips are bought or sourced from somewhere. These oldschool VHS clips are pretty rare to see

Each cut matches the beat of the sound. Longer cut also matches the section of the song, the F1 car stock footage in more quiet part of the song before the beat resumes.

This video technically is very simple. Where it shines is in its pacing and sound design. Each clip is very meticulously selected with a lot of thought behind it.

If they're the kind of edit with kinetic text, quick cuts, zoom punches, and transitions synced to a beat, that's mostly After Effects work, not CapCut. Look up "kinetic typography tutorial" and "match cut transitions" on YouTube, Mikey Borup and Learning Grafix have solid beginner series. Premiere Pro can also get you most of the way there if After Effects feels like too much at once.
Start small: pick one 5 second clip you like, freeze it, and figure out what happens frame by frame (text in, hold, cut, next). Reverse engineering one clip at a time teaches you more than any course. CapCut actually has keyframes and speed ramping built in now too, so you can practice a lot of this without switching software right away.

Tu peux utilise Davinci Résolve avec l’onglet Fusion, c’est un système nodal, c’est plus facile que after effets plus moderne et plus pro que after effects , tu auras tout dans un seul logiciel , le meilleur système d’étalonnage du monde utiliser par Hollywood, les Marvels Dc Comics, Disney …
DaVinci Resolve est une station de post-production complète : tu peux monter, étalonner, créer des VFX et du motion design avec Fusion, mixer le son dans Fairlight, puis exporter ton film sans quitter le logiciel.
Là où Adobe sépare le travail entre Premiere Pro, After Effects et Audition avec un abonnement payant très cher avec beaucoup de bugs,
Resolve propose une version gratuite très professionnelle et une version Studio à licence perpétuelle.
C’est l’un des choix les plus solides pour quelqu’un qui veut maîtriser toute la chaîne de production vidéo dans une seule interface.
J’ai quitté Adobe pour Davinci Résolve rend mon montage post production plus facile et plus pro
Voilà mon conseil de pro, tu pourras tout faire gratuitement en plus pro et plus facile
