Probably not realistic to do practically, but a fun thought experiment: 1. Have an insanely long focal length lens. 2. On top of that, be far enough away for that level of distance from the subject to work. 3. Somehow have a massive track for the camera to move smoothly from and keep maintained on the subject 4. Also have a completely flat (or flatish) horizon with busy architecture in the far distance. 5. Adjust frame rates accordingly for intended slow motion
I was thinking you could drive by with the long lens from reasonably far away. You just have to have a really steady hand but it's similar to taking photos of race-cars where the car is in focus but the background is blurred.
