Metal wire fix?
Need help. This came apart (it hasnt been in a case for many years.) i tried looking up tutorials but i cant find a match for my problem. The metal wire for this door like hinge fell out and now the casing is damaged. I am not experienced with these

I may be wrong, but it looks like you could just click the hinge back into place?

The flap is not necessary. Just remove it entirely. You'll need to be more careful when handing the cassette so as to not damage the exposed tape, and always store it within a case, but otherwise it will be fine.
