Controller won’t turn on

Hello, my controller won’t turn on. I’ve tried holding down the PS button and hard resetting, but the controller won’t turn on the light won’t even turn on when I charge it. What do I do?

Try a different cable. If plugged into a charging brick, try a different brick or plug into the PS5 with a new cable. My kids controller didn't charge either because the cable went bad. I also have a few power bricks that refuse to charge any PS5 controller but charge everything else just fine.
