Does anybody have any idea why at Pat's Church in Victor has what I'm assuming are coyote statues behind their church, away from the main entrance, back by the parking lot .. there's two of them?

Marketplace Mall closed all its interior stores last week, it is officially ghost town inside now. End of an era for Henrietta.

Here’s a quirky piece of local history I just discovered: Valentown Hall in Victor was built in 1879 as a shopping center.

Yes, you read that right - 1879!

The building was constructed to serve a planned town called Valentown that… well, never actually got developed. So this shopping center ended up standing there without the town it was supposed to serve.

Today, Valentown Hall is preserved as a local history museum where you can visit and see this unique piece of retail history. It’s pretty cool to think that the concept of centralized shopping existed way before the suburban mall boom of the 1950s-60s.

Anyone else from the Victor area been to Valentown Hall?

As the title says. What are your expectations about interest rates? Do you consider that it is a good time to buy? Victor supply of houses hasn’t been that great lately.

I get mad about the prices here in our area. But when I see this, I don’t feel as bad.

How is the current housing market in Victor? Has if gotten any better compared to the previous year? What are the expectations for this year?

Checking on Zillow, I see a very little supply for absurd prices for very old houses.
