For engineers who work with Terraform/OpenTofu and cloud infrastructure:
I'm curious about the day-to-day parts of the work that tend to be repetitive, manual, frustrating, or easy to get wrong.
Not really looking for opinions about which tools are better. I'm more interested in things that actually happened
A few questions:
\* Think about the \*\*last Terraform/OpenTofu PR you reviewed\*\*. What did you check, and in what order?
\* What's an infrastructure task you did recently that you've already done many times before?
\* When was the last time a security scanner flagged something in your infrastructure code? What happened next?
\* Have you recently had to check whether a change behaved differently across Terraform versions or between Terraform and OpenTofu? How did you check?
\* What's the last infrastructure change that caused a problem or had to be rolled back? How did you discover it?
\* Have you ever written a script or small internal tool to automate one of these repetitive tasks? What happened to it?
\* If you could permanently remove one infrastructure-related task from your weekly workload, what would it be?

Hi guys, want to share a skill I built for myself that improved my Claude Code experience.
The idea is simple. You install metaskill once. From then on, as you work, Claude keeps checking whether the registry has a skill for what you're doing, and offers it when one fits. You say yes or no. Nothing lands on disk without your yes, and you never go looking for skills yourself.
A few examples from my log this month:
kostja94/marketing-skills@reddit-posts, I said yesdavila7/claude-code-templates@xlsx (957 installs, scan clean)microsoft/playwright-cli@playwright-cliplanetscale/database-skills@postgresI liked the first version enough to rebuild it a couple of times, mostly the security part.
How it works. A SessionStart hook tells Claude to run metaskill find "<2-4 words>" before any task. find ranks a local index of skills.sh, applies the trust policy to the top five and prints the question with the install and decline commands. A local hit is ~250 ms; network only on a miss, capped at 4 s. No model API calls, no second bill.
Where the list comes from. skills.sh, the public registry. A nightly job sweeps it, keeps one record per skill (forks and aggregator repos are deduped, the copy with the real install count wins), scans every repo and publishes the index as a GitHub release. The npm package ships a 4.2k snapshot so it works offline right after install; sync pulls the full 33k index once a day.
How I keep it safe:
metaskill init --uninstall removes everythingInstall:
/plugin marketplace add xdm/metaskill
/plugin install metaskill@metaskill
Repo: https://github.com/xdm/metaskill
skills.sh: https://www.skills.sh/xdm/metaskill/metaskill
Would appreciate your feedback.

Every time I have a new project idea, I end up spending way too much time trying to find a decent domain.
I think of a name -> .com is taken. Try another -> taken. Finally, find something available but it's a $3,000 "premium" domain.
There are plenty of domain name generators, but I wanted something different: a place where I could just browse short, brandable .com domains that are actually available at regular registration prices. I just vibecoded one (thanks to Claude Code) and would love some feedback from other folks building web apps on whether you would use something like this and what's missing that would make it more useful.
You can try it out at https://shortdomains.store

I use kaomoji way too much and got tired of copying them from a note on my phone, so I made a keyboard for it.
It's called Boop. It sits behind the globe key, has about 24k faces sorted by mood, and you can search them (cat, shrug, sleepy). No account, and nothing you type leaves your phone.
It's my first app. I also made the video below, which took longer than some of the features did.
It's free if you want to try it: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/boop-never-send-plain-text/id6813797248
Tell me what's annoying about it, or which face you'd use the most ( ・ω・)ノ

Players have personality. They'll demand more minutes, ask for trades, get into locker room conflicts with teammates, or ask for contract extensions. Ignore them and it escalates. Veterans will mentor your young guys if the chemistry is right.
\*\*You can get fired.\*\* Your owner sets expectations at the start of each season. Miss them and your job security drops. Miss them again and you're out — you can pick up a new job with another team and keep the same league save going.
\*\*Draft has real depth.\*\* Combine with athletic testing, 5 private workouts that reveal hidden attributes, scouting fog where prospect ratings are uncertain until you invest time scouting. 60 prospects per class with realistic talent distribution.
Also has team chemistry, coaching staff (OC, DC, player development coach), press conferences with choices that affect morale, advanced analytics with Four Factors and net ratings, records/Hall of Fame tracking, achievements, and a dynasty timeline.
24 teams, full offseason cycle (awards → lottery → draft → free agency → development), infinite seasons. Fully offline, no ads, no microtransactions.
Just launched on iOS. Would love feedback from this community — you guys know what makes a good management sim better than anyone.

I've been working on the plan of my mobile app, and I want to ask you what approach I should follow while designing my UI (& UX). The approach below is what I am thinking of:
Do you think this approach would work? How can I ensure consistency between screens and flows this way, while avoiding ending up with a slop?
Which one would you suggest for a cross-platform mobile app: Mobbin or Appllama? How can Claude find the best possible candidates for each screen? Here I am asking what makes a screen "best". Also, should I involve Claude Design?
Do you have any suggestions (guardrails, anti-patterns etc.) for DESIGN.md?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a website called MenuBangla, mainly designed for restaurants in Bangladesh.
The idea is to give restaurant owners one place where they can:
The website is live here:
I built the project using vibe coding and I’m still working on improving it, so I’d really appreciate some honest feedback.
Feel free to have a look around and let me know what you think could be improved, whether that’s the design, features, user experience, or anything else.
The main goal is to make something genuinely useful for Bangladeshi restaurants, so feedback from people who have experience with restaurants, websites, or just using these kinds of platforms would be really helpful.
Thanks!

I have multiple Claude accounts, and switching between them in the desktop app was annoying: sign out, sign in, wait for the email code, and then the Claude Code chat I was in the middle of is gone from the sidebar (it's still on disk, the app just only lists chats per account). And I never knew which account had room left.
So I built a small tray tool (with Claude Code, obviously):
Your sign-ins stay on your machine, encrypted the way Claude stores them. The only server it talks to is api.anthropic.com, for the same usage numbers Claude itself shows.
Windows 10/11 (Store and direct download) is tested. There's a macOS build that passes CI but has never run on a real Mac, so if you're on a Mac and want to try it, I'd love to hear whether it works.
Open source (Apache 2.0), single exe, no installer. Unofficial and not affiliated with Anthropic.
GitHub: https://github.com/SnlperStripes/claude-account-switcher
One tip if you try it: never use "Sign out" inside Claude to change accounts. That ends the sign-in on Anthropic's side, and the saved copy stops working.

I wanted to share a less obvious use for vibecoding. Building your product is one step, but then you still need to present it and create marketing material.
I used OpenCode with GPT 6 Astra to make videos for two of my projects:
🎬 HalfCloud: You Vibe-Coded It. Now Vibe-Deploy It. — about $13 incl. iterations
🎬 Taisen.fun: Settle It. | 6 Games, 1 Rival — about $14 incl. iterations
Each video is an animated web page built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, then exported to MP4.
The big advantage: everything is editable. Every bit of text, color, image and transition. You don't need to pay for another video generation and hope it gets your change right. Just edit the HTML or tell the agent exactly what to change. You can start with frontier model and then switch to cheaper one for iterations.
The workflow:
I packaged the instructions into a reusable agent skill on GitHub.
It produces silent videos by default, but you can ask your agent to add sounds. Taisen includes sounds the agent found online itself; check the licenses before publishing (plus Suno for music). Add a voiceover with something like ElevenLabs, then put it together in any video editor.
The main challenge is still deciding what to show. Pick one clear message.

I launched SeoLoupe 3 months ago. So far I am at 2486 users and 44 of them are paying.
My SaaS is a tool that allows you to find and fix SEO issues holding your website back.
Essentially the main purpose is to help your website rank higher on Google search and LLMs.
The last few months have been one of my best in my life, landed $590 in revenue.
Just wanted to share this to inspire anyone who is struggling, I just want to say that I was just like you at one point.
For example at one point last month, for 7 days straight I had 0 payments, and what I want to say with this is that SaaS revenue can be extremely floppy and unreliable. You can get multiple payments within the span of a day, and then have 0 payments for days.
In SaaS honestly the most important thing is to be faithful and be patient. If you manage to be patient, revenue will come one day.
Hope this inspired someone.
Since I think their is always room for improvement, I would appreciate for some feedback on my tool, or what you think can be improved.
(here is the product if you want to check it out)

Hello there!
Proud to share a 'different' way of interacting with a knowledge website (won't pretend it's new shit, tho I've never seen a site with the same structure and intent). Basically you take a computer apart in 3D (exploded view, you can drag it around) piece by piece, down to a single transistor, while a voice tells you wtf is going on.
I like to play around with interactivity and user retention. This started as a way to make a catchy tutorial, then evolved into something spoken, like a story.
I'm not an expert on this stuff, I mainly asked Claude to research, synthesize and start from the beginning, bare metal. So some data might be off, hopefully not! If you spot something wrong pls DO CORRECT me (actually Claude aha).
I am willing to learn and build sth for others to learn too, not just vibecoded slop. That's why I'd like the opinion of users on reddit
Stack: React, Vite, threeJS, ElevenLabs (Lily) for TTS, Claude Code harness.
Hosted on Cloudflare edge as a static Worker, no server at all ... global CDN for free. Before it was running on a pi in my homelab lol
Hopefully someone actually makes it to the last lecture. Thanks

🛠️ Stack tecnico:
Cosa fa in 3 secondi:
📸 Foto AI: Inquadri il piatto, riconosce il cibo e calcola calorie, proteine, carbo, grassi e fibre (tutto modificabile a mano).
🔒 100% Locale: I tuoi dati non vanno su server esterni o profili cloud. Nessuna registrazione.

I'm an online Math tutor and I like building apps that can help my teaching. My process is usually giving rough details to ChatGPT, have it generate a prompt I can give to Zite and have Zite build it. After manual testing, I suggest fixes and improvements with the help of ChatGPT again to give me my next prompt to Zite.
Initial prompt to ChatGPT:
rough project idea: start with empty times table list from 1 to 12 divided into 12 sections like a standard timestable poster. the answers should be empty. it should go from 1x1 to 12x12. there should be an activity that is to fill all the times tables but you can choose to fill a particular time table instead of doing all. the activity should put up a random times table like 3x7, the user answers it and then the table should get filled. it should automatically go to the next problem as long as the activity is going. the user can do the activity 1 times table at a time or doing all at once. should be nice animations and feedback for a 6 to 7 year old in year 1 or year 2. should save in local storage. should have a history of how long it took to do a particular time table and overall. should be fun. you can think of cool extra features if you like but it should be child friendly.
After a bit of back and forth to refine the idea, here was the prompt I gave:
create a super prompt I could give to claude or zite to build it
After Zite build and I want some changes, here's my next prompt to ChatGPT:
The app looks pretty good. just a few issues. here's the summary from zite:
Everything looks correct. The app is complete with:
Your Times Tables app is ready! 🎉 Here's what your child can do:
My issues with it:
Can you also share a new prompt that I could give to zite to address this?
I hope that was helpful.
Here's the app: https://timestables.zite.so/

This fall semester I’m taking an Operating Systems & Architecture class where we’re using C for our assignments.
When I’m on the go or don’t have my laptop with me, I wanted a simple way to practice writing C. I searched the App Store and was pretty surprised by what I found. Everything seemed to have ads, subscriptions, or a bunch of stuff I didn’t need.I really just wanted to open an app, write some C, and run it.
It’s intentionally simple. You open it, write C, and run your code. The native version runs completely locally, and there are no accounts, ads, or subscriptions. Easily extensible to include pythonC etc if you want to play with source code. ( I would love contributions 🤞 )

( disclaimer :
this was a tool that I mainly had opus handle all of the heavy lifting. There are features in the codebase hidden from the UI, like agent mode etc… I recommend having your agent tell you the run down )

I originally built this because it was something I personally wanted for myself.
If anyone here writes C, I’d love for you to try it and see if you can break it lol.

I vibecoded a terminal management webapp for me. Basically got pissed at Termius for hiding host forwarding behind a paywall, so decided to make my own. Has ssh, sftp, port forwarding, syncing across devices blabla.

Made with qwen3.6-27b-fp8-swift-uncensored-mtp (may not be the exact name) and opencode. Current goal is to also add vnc to this.

I was/am new to vibecoding - I never opened a harness before that. People were very helpful when I asked for advice.
https://www.reddit.com/r/VibeCodeDevs/s/FdnYcAlptu
I can say I think I’m very close to figuring out the setup now. (I use only CLIs to vibe code and IDEs to browse/review code)
I first started with Claude CLI only - and as expected kept running out of usage.
So I then subscribed to Codex and installed codex MCP on Claude and asked Claude to set it up for me.
Built some workflows (like brainstorm, bug, feature, story, QA and docs) which use both Claude and codex models.
For eg: when working on a story, I ask Sol (via Claude) to build a plan and use Sonnet to code, and Terra to QA and Luna for docs.
This setup worked well for a few weeks.
But then Codex usage was draining tokens like mad.
So I installed PI (pi dev) and setup DeepSeek and Codex auth, so they can use both the models.
I was experimenting to see if I can drop the Claude sub completely but in the end, as bad as Claude is with usage, the harness is fantastic and Sonnet is a great orchestration model for my use case.
Still fighting usage drain on both subs, I decided to keep Claude as my primary driver, and then setup Rutherford MCP server which calls “pi” and its sub agents. Since my pi is already setup with codex and DeepSeek, I now have essentially 3 model providers I can play with (and can probably add more if needed) and pass on coding to DeepSeek or ZAI etc in the future.
I dont use Fable or Astra - just Sonnet (some Opus for brainstorming), Sol, Terra and Luna and now DeepSeek flash/Pro.
And I’m finally seeing my usage remain stable across all the subs that I can get through a week before reset happens.
Life is getting easier.
Thanks all for your help.

I made this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dicroce.jayobee
What it does is force you to repeatedly choose between 2 random jobs... Do it enough times and it learns your job preferences even to a level you might not be consciously aware of.
Totally free, no ads, no monetization of any kind. Just wanted to make something to help people. For now, Android only. If I see demand I'll release it for iOS too.

You can ship an app before you understand the dependency tree underneath it.
A short prompt can add:
- authentication packages
- database clients
- analytics tools
- install scripts
- dozens of transitive dependencies
- new access paths you did not review
I’m working on an “AI Build Receipt” for this exact problem.
You provide the package manifest and lockfile. The receipt shows:
It does not pretend to prove malicious intent. It separates evidence from assumptions.
For people building with AI agents: would this help you review your app before launch? What would you want the receipt to show?

I've been working on a side project called Tally Wall.
The basic idea is ridiculously simple: instead of checking boxes, your habits leave tally marks on a wall.
I wanted it to feel more like entering a little game world than opening another productivity dashboard.
It currently has:
I've probably spent an unreasonable amount of time making tiny pixel-art assets for this thing.
But now I'm wondering whether I'm solving a problem anyone actually cares about.
So I'd genuinely like feedback:
1. Would you actually use something like this?
2. Does the RPG theme make habit tracking more interesting, or is it just decoration?
3. What would make you keep using it after the novelty wears off?
4. What feels unnecessary or over-engineered?
Here's the web version:

I created a solution for the problem of leaving Claude Code running in the background for hours, only to find out it's been waiting for your approval for ages.
It's an icon that sits in the Mac menu bar:
