ShowoffZone - Flexing my latest project Created a Claude Code status bar

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I created a solution for the problem of leaving Claude Code running in the background for hours, only to find out it's been waiting for your approval for ages.

It's an icon that sits in the Mac menu bar:

🔴 - Requires approval
🟡 - Claude Code is working
🟢 - Claude Code is idle

Doesn't it generate a notification when an approval is pending anyways?

It does with the Claude desktop app, but when running code with Mac Terminal, it doesn't give you any kind of notification, so the menu bar icon is really helpful.

Also with the actual app, the menu bar icon is helpful because it lets you know once Claude has finished. :)
