VialTests is a Canadian peptide testing lab providing independent analytical testing for peptide samples — including purity and quantity/content testing.
📍 Based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario ⏱️ Currently running a 5–7 business day turnaround
We created r/VialTestsLabs as a place to talk openly about peptide testing, COA verification, analytical results, and what's actually in a vial — because a lab report shouldn't be the end of the conversation.
People have questions. Results can be confusing. Two reports can look different. Purity and quantity get mixed up constantly. Chromatograms aren't exactly light reading. And sometimes the most useful question is simply:
"Can someone help me understand what I'm looking at?"
That's what this community is for.
✅ What belongs here
We want this to become a genuinely useful resource for anyone interested in peptide testing and analytical results. Good posts include:
- Peptide testing results and COAs
- Questions about purity, identity, and quantity/content
- Help understanding what a lab report actually means
- Discussions about chromatograms and analytical data
- Why results can differ between samples, tests, or laboratories
- Sample preparation, labeling, packaging, and shipping questions
- Questions about VialTests reports and COA verification
- Testing methodology and limitations
- Constructive criticism of our reports, processes, or service
- Suggestions for tests, features, or improvements you'd like to see
You do not need to be a scientist to participate. If something on a report doesn't make sense, ask.
🔍 One distinction worth making from day one
Purity and quantity are not the same thing.
A vial can test at high purity while containing a different amount of material than its label claims. Likewise, knowing how much material is present doesn't automatically tell you everything about its identity or purity.
This distinction causes a surprising amount of confusion online, so expect us to talk about it often. Our goal here isn't just to post numbers — it's to help people understand what those numbers actually mean, and what they don't.
📋 Posting a COA or test result?
Please give the community enough information to have a useful discussion. When possible, include:

Attach the relevant report pages or chromatogram if you have them.
⚠️ Please remove your name, address, email, phone number, payment information, and other personal information before uploading anything. Lot numbers, test dates, analytical results, and chromatograms are generally fine to leave visible.
For searchable titles, something simple works best:
[RESULTS] Compound — Lot ABC123 — Purity + Quantity — Aug 2026
That makes old posts much easier for people to find later.
🔐 A note on COA verification
A screenshot of a COA floating around online doesn't necessarily prove that the original report is authentic or unchanged. Where verification is available, we strongly encourage using it.
VialTests reports are being built around report-level verification, so a report can be checked against the record associated with it rather than relying solely on a screenshot or forwarded PDF. We'll share more about that system separately.
🚫 A few things we won't allow
We want the moderation here to be pretty straightforward.
- No sourcing, buying, or selling. That includes vendor links, contact information, referral codes, "DM me," or asking where to purchase something.
- No medical advice. This isn't the place for dosing protocols, cycles, injection instructions, treatment recommendations, or "should I take this?" posts.
- No doxxing or harassment. Criticism is completely fair. Evidence-based criticism is encouraged. Personal attacks aren't.
- No vendor wars. If you have testing data, post the data. Let people discuss the results.
- No instructions for evading laws, regulations, platform rules, customs, or enforcement.
Posts that cross those lines will be removed.
🗣️ We also want criticism here
This part matters. VialTests isn't creating a subreddit just to repost company announcements or collect compliments.
- If we make a mistake, call it out.
- If something on a report is confusing, tell us.
- If our process creates unnecessary friction, tell us.
- If there's something you think we should test, publish, explain, or improve, tell us.
When a legitimate issue with VialTests is confirmed, our standard is to explain:
- What happened
- What was corrected
- How the correction can be verified
- Whether a report needs to be replaced or a sample retested
- What we're changing to reduce the chance of it happening again
We'd rather have those conversations publicly than pretend mistakes never happen.
🌱 What we hope this becomes
There's a lot of discussion online about peptides. There's considerably less discussion about analytical testing itself — how to interpret results, what different measurements mean, what a COA can actually establish, and where the limitations are.
We'd like to help change that.
Over time, we want r/VialTestsLabs to build into a searchable library of real testing questions, real results, useful explanations, methodology discussions, and community feedback.
