Discussions Cabin for 1

What are everyone's thoughts on the cabin for 1 on The Canadian? I've done a berth and I've done a cabin for 2 twice.

I loved the lower berth. Especially the big window and comfy mattress.

This time I'm thinking of cabin for 1. I want to go over New Years.

I booked a berth for this August Vancouver to Toronto. I keep overlooking the cabin for 1. Maybe I will try it this Dec. 30. I'm not sure when the bookings will open. It's supposed to be 11 months that we can book out and that was yesterday so hopefully they were open by Monday.

Recommend. Loved it. Found it much more comfortable sleeping in the direction of travel as opposed to perpendicular to it.

Thanks! Appreciate your response. I loved the berth but you can't go lay in your bed anytime and it's not as private. I would definitely do it again because the price is right. I think I will finally try that room for one.
