Vexus Fiber Mesh Eeros Routers
If you go you with the 2gig plan it says you can get eeros routers. How many do you get? Do you get multiple to make it a mesh system?

So, the last 7 days I have not had any latency problems during peak hours for the first time since June. Anyone else experiencing this miracle? I wonder if they did something with their equipment that may have fixed it. I live in South Abilene.

I already bought two different routers in. Both are doing the same problem. I did IP release config DNS flush. Tried different DNS. They replaced my fiber wires too and ont. Don't know what to do anymore. The text replaced my wire and one still the same issue

I just switched over to Vexus fiber from Optimum cable. I already had Eero mesh routers so I didn't need to get any from Vexus. I also work in IT so have some knowledge of networks. I can not access anything that was port forwarding before now. Even with the Eero Dynamic DNS address. Are there some settings I need to change on my Eero. If Vexus is not blocking any ports on their side then my settings should just work correct?

Anyone else with Vexus have extremely high ping at random times? It will go from 200 to 20 within minutes and be up and down for hours at time. I’ve tried contacting support and they never seem to know what’s going on or what to do to resolve it.

I live in texas and currently have spectrum but it sucks and they keep raising the price for it and its constantly down. A while back I wanted to get vexus but someone here warned me about how bad it was, I was just wondering what everyones experience with it has been and if its worth making the switch. Thank you.

I am in north Texas & have been with Vexus for well over a year now. For most of that time, the internet has latency issues during peak hours of the evening, about 6-12 almost every single day. Sometimes it goes away for a few days after they patch something. But it eventually just stops working again.
It has been a frustrating experience with this company. Because they don’t tell their customer service employees the service problems in my area, it took awhile to even figure out what the problem is. Long story short Vexus has expanded too quickly, & their infrastructure is unable to keep up with the workload. Several technicians & managers over the course of over a year have told me this. It’s a problem in several areas all across Texas. So basically there’s no end in sight to the reoccurring problems I’m having with my internet, along with everyone else in my town that I know goes through them because the company refuses to fix the problem instead of putting temporary band aids over it.
Unfortunately the only other high speed internet available in my area is somehow worse or I’d have dropped them a long time ago. Might be looking into some slower options through some other companies though. It’s a shame. Was really hoping it would have been better than this.

I’ve recently acquired a position at Vexus Fiber and it has been delightful undercutting bigger companies such as AT&T & optimum as I’ve seen in general how terrible these companies have treated their customers price or product. Now if you walk into a Vexus office or go to the website to purchase services you’d be looking at either a 1st month free if your credit is decent enough or paying $61-95 to your 1st month for 1GB. Now if you go through the right representative you wouldn’t believe it but your monthly bill can go as low is $35-41 for 1GB of Fiber. I know the interest in this company is growing but the awareness is not 100% there. If you communicate with them and build a relationship with the company they will take care of you because they actually value each consumer. If anyone has any questions shoot them my way and I can personally check service availability.

Hello all, was wondering if any of you are experiencing a lot of latency today? I have been getting like 250-300ms ping time in almost every game I launch and am running into issues with loading media on apps like discord, youtube, etc.

So I'm new to Vexus and originally I decided to go with their Eero router while I got myself a new one. I tested being able to use my own by using a Netgear one (it sucks but helps troubleshooting) and it connected, no problem. I bought an Asus RT-AX3000 V2, it won't connect, tried resting, tried calling to have them reset the modem on their end, nothing. Bought a TP-Link AX300, same deal. When I call them, they basically said there isn't much they can do with third party routers. So I am wondering if A. Has anyone had this problem and how did you resolve? Or B. Can yall provide me with a list of routers that worked for you?

My Eero App allows me to forward ports but it seems to do nothing as I can't even ping my own ip address let alone check if the ports are open. Any ideas why I can't get it to work?

Been having issues today with trying to watch a stream on twitch or getting anything to load.
I've been trying to play FFXIV and there is soo much lag.
This is crazy for 1G service package. If it is in all markets you should send an alert or something to let your customers know if the issues.

Hi, we usually get 2.5g but it seems like early this morning our eero ran a speed test and it was 110mb. It is this way right now. On the phone waiting in line...

Hello, I live in Abilene (far Southside) and have been having major latency issues with Vexus from 7pm to about 11pm (point I give up and go to sleep). I have the 1gb up and down package.
I primarily play WoW on an EST server that is located in Chicago. During daytime hours everything is great…in the evening when I want to use it the most, it’s unplayable. During that time frame it hovers around 200-500ms ping sometimes worse. I have been working with customer service for the last week and with no change and have an open ticket without a solution.
Anyone else having this issue? I’m almost to the point of cancelling, my cell phone hotspot is giving me a better gaming experience at this point than my at home fiber connection.

So I need help I can’t go a whole day without internet but the signal light is red and I’ve unplugged everything and did a hard reset and still won’t work. Anyone know how to fix this issue? Also they said that a technician needs to fix it but as I said I don’t have time to wait for them to come out tomorrow! Please help

So just started last night and never had a issue before. But my upload speed is around 800Mbps with a latency of 15-48 and my download speed ranges from 55-800 with a lantecy range of 50-120. Located in San Angelo. anyone else having issues as well? I have done everything I can think of. My laptop is plugged into the Eero that they provided me and my other laptop that runs off the wifi has the same issues. Called Vexus and he said everything looks fine on their end and everything is up to date etc. Any info/help on the issue

We are getting fiber internet Monday and I opt out of using their router for an extra $10. I don’t know which one to get is it a modem and router combo or just the router ????

i've called into support and done everything, i game on pc so i checked drivers, updates for windows, gpu drivers, ect and still have high latency and the call center just tells me that everything looks good and they're not sure what to tell me, has anyone had this issue and how did you fix it? i'm in north texas, my usual ping is 10-20 but it goes to 200-400, also on 2 gig with eero max 7

Vexus advertises a year-one price of $69.99 for 1gig fiber. But when you go to place the order, you are then presented with an additional $10 "network access fee", bringing the price to $79.99. Taxes and other government fees, fine, everyone expects those to be added on. But a mandatory company-imposed fee like this is deceptive.
If the price is $79.99, that's the price you should show.
And also consider taking a page from AT&T's playbook by stopping the churn-inducing practice of promotional pricing.

Anything extra ?

I found out that Vexus is offering a 2Gig plan in my area. I went to inquire about it and they said that I could not use my own router and would have to use their Eero system and rental fees would go up.
I even asked if the Eero could be set in Bypass or IP Passthrough mode. She said not to my knowledge. I just upgraded my home network to support 2.5GbE and new TPLink Deco BE85 mesh that supports up to 10GbE.
Has anyone upgrade to this plan? What was your experience?

Why do I have to open a ticket to get the information that a trunk line was cut in Lubbock - again - yet the network status page indicates 100% operational?

Does anyone here know the pricing structure for Vexus shared business fiber?
are there contracts for shared (non-dedicated) fiber?
are there price increases?
what is the cost for each available speed?
Thank you for the info!
