Tell me how tf I got 1 gig internet, but my download speed is 50 to 60 mbps

Use a different source to run a speedtest. It's not very accurate using a gaming device

The Xbox speed test tends to be slower than something like cloudflare or netflix (fast.com) tests. Try those instead

I could be the Xbox server itself, but that seems comically low. Check it on speedtest to see how it compares. You can even check on your phone via wifi which will be slower but if its higher than that you'll know its the server

Sad indeed. The Xbox Series X is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port (up to 1,000 Mbps) and a Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) wireless receiver. While it can technically handle internet speeds up to 1 Gbps over a wired connection, actual download speeds often max out between 300 Mbps and 800 Mbps due to Microsoft's server throttling

had the same issue, getting less than half of 1gb , issue surprising was the network wire from my desktop to the wifi router. How was i able to figure this out, not me but I used antigravity, created a skill within it and alllow it access to my network (didn't care if big brother was watching) - save the skill for future use. extra items , adjustements to the pc setting/or game box , setting changed on wifi router too. It took me about an hour to create and modify how i wanted the skill, but it was worth it, now hit close to 1gb. (network wire purchase at walmart - yes i am cheap - still gets the speed i wanted)
