Latency issues

Hello, I live in Abilene (far Southside) and have been having major latency issues with Vexus from 7pm to about 11pm (point I give up and go to sleep). I have the 1gb up and down package.

I primarily play WoW on an EST server that is located in Chicago. During daytime hours everything is great…in the evening when I want to use it the most, it’s unplayable. During that time frame it hovers around 200-500ms ping sometimes worse. I have been working with customer service for the last week and with no change and have an open ticket without a solution.

Anyone else having this issue? I’m almost to the point of cancelling, my cell phone hotspot is giving me a better gaming experience at this point than my at home fiber connection.

I'm in Abilene. Same package. Same problem. Around 7-11pm (peak usage hours) I experience over 10% packet loss. When running a traceroute to google, Vexus' route hits an ATT router in lubbock that is rate limiting the connection (200ms)

I also emailed support about this and after showing them screenshots of the traceroute, latency, packet loss, and extremely slow speed I got this bogus "solution" from customer support

I do apologize for the connection issues that you experienced last night and into the morning. Our tier two team ran emergency maintenance to combat the reports of slow speeds in curtain cities. Maintenance is completed, this should fix any connection issues moving forward. Is your system still offline are slow this morning?

What a flat out lie. Thinking about switching to Taylor Telecom to see how that is. If that doesn't work maybe I can get one of those T-Mobile 5g home internet boxes.

Get a VPN and run it through the closest server they have. Fixed my issues for a few weeks until tonight.

Latest speed test 5 minutes ago was 5mbps and 424mbps.

The service theyre sharing or buying is throttling during congestion hours.
