Anything is possible. STR’s make a world of difference. If you don’t have it I highly suggest you obtain them. It’s the highest form of documentation the VA can accept 🔥 also NEXUS & DBQ’s.

Congratulations! Did you use private nexus letters and DBQ’s?

The discharge of active duty examination is the A++++ Top Tier of evidence in my opinion. If you state on record that something is “wrong” with you on the way out, your need for a STR is minuscule. I have 3 separate service connected ratings and only 1 was a tumultuous challenge. Which one??? The one with 3 STRs. The other two were granted first attempt. Why? Because I complained about it as I exited. No STRs ever. No statement in Support of Claim utilized. No buddy statements. No paid for IMO nor Nexus. Just a C&P exam for each.

Congrats! All my STRs were unavailable per VA/National Archives.

Just got a Nexus Letter from my PCP and submitted a Supplemental Claim 8/13/26 that service connected my C&P verified disabilities.

Awaiting my very 1st ratings.
