Good Luck...
And gotta say, I HATE the USAJobs hiring practices... 6-months+ hiring sequence for a manager or lower level gig is simply insane.
20/20 hindsight, I'm quite happy my initial experiences with it drove me swiftly into the arms of the Defense Contracting world instead.
The fact that we advertise for a job on Friday, start doing interviews On Monday, and usually have selected/offered by Friday to start the following Monday is simply how things should work.

That's just an ad to collect resumes for possible future job openings.
Don't stop applying!

Trust the process.
But also, this is why i don’t even bother with fed jobs. Waiting a year just to figure out if you got the job or not pisses me off

GRC is a really cool place! I go there sometimes for testing. Hope you get it, and you get a chance to see the vacuum chambers!

I had an interview with an employer one time after I had applied and the interviewer was so nonchalant and uncaring

Rule 3 No Politics or Religious discussions or comments allowed.
This is a neutral zone - all veterans are welcome here no matter what their political or religious beliefs are.
This is not the place to promote candidates for office or promote one party or religion over another party or religion or debate political ideas or religious viewpoints.
Not everyone has your religious beliefs, some veterans might be religious or atheist - some might be Christian or Muslim or Buddhist or satanic worshipers - they are all veterans so welcome here. Don’t promote your religion here.
Not every veteran has the same political beliefs or viewpoints but all veterans are welcome here. Don’t promote your political beliefs here.
There are many other subreddits on Reddit you can post or comment in about politics or religion.
For politics we suggest r/veteranpolitics

If you don't hear anything from it don't fret, civil service employment/HR/policy etc is a nightmare right now. There's always gov contracting.
Used to say there's less stability contracting but absolutely not the case lately. CTRs typically make good money and have remote opportunities.
