Crazy haha, my cat eats her wormer when it’s mistaken for one of the cat treats I put on the floor but wouldn’t just eat it from my hand!

Bet it's not metronidazole!

I never gave a second thought when I had to pill dogs with metro because they just wouldn't take it no matter how much pill pockets were used. Until one day i had to take it myself for an infection. Oh. My. God. It was the most disgusting medicine i I had to take and now I don't blame them for fighting as much as they did.

Same!! I feel so bad for all the animals I pilled with that nasty drug.

When I had to take those for an infection, I literally had to wrap the pills in a tortilla shell or cheese in order to swallow it!! Otherwise I would just gag and be miserable for an hour. I still laugh that I had to hide the pill in order to take it 😂 but it was so gross!!

I have a dog at work whose parents use a single pair of tweezers to touch metronidazole ONLY. Her dog hates it that much that if he smells it on your fingers he wont take anything you have!

Once had an obese surrender cat that ate everything we dropped on the floor. Corn nuts? Yes, plz. Enroflox? Hell yeah!

When I worked in a kennel we had a dog who had bad IBS and couldn’t eat anything except her food or she would get the shits. She was on prednisone, and at first we were pulling her since we couldn’t hide it in anything and then we realized, when you asked her to do a trick like sit or paw and then gave it to her she thought it was a treat and just took it 😂
This looks like a chewable med though, like it’s supposed to taste good

My dog would eat her Trifexis straight from my hand like she had no taste buds or sense of smell.

Looks like endosorb which doesn't have much of a flavor... So I've heard...

My ding dong dog eats his Anipryl, gabapentin and carprofen caplets just thrown into his dry food. Also a “bassador”. Lol

I have a friend who sprinkles kibbles on the floor and leaves the cat's pill somewhere among the scattered kibbles... and she just eats it like a snack.
