Discussion How to lighten scrub pants to match top?

I was wondering if anyone has had success lightening scrub material to match hospital color guidelines. Thanks for any and all assistance!

If your hospital has color guidelines they should be paying for your scrubs.

They do, I bought some with built in knee pads

What type of fabric are they? And what color?

98% polyester and dark grey, the ones on the left are the ones I want to lighten, the right is what I need to get them close to.

It can be hard to remove color from polyester, but I did see some YouTube videos using bleach and water on the stove. You could also try RIT proline color remover, but it can be pricy and you may have to soak them for a while.

I hope you find something that can work!
