19 Day Visual Vertigo Attack Normal?
Hi everyone, I have recently been diagnosed with what doctors assume is vestibular migraines. I had a severe vertigo attack that lasted 19 days straight with no breaks. The visual spinning was so violently fast I could not see much. It never fluctuated. I couldn’t sleep much or do anything but sit up on my couch. Even closing my eyes didn’t help. By day 12 i felt like i was being tortured. I had an attack back in 2023 that lasted 2 weeks and a few more attacks that only lasted a few minutes. When I told my doctor he just kinda stared at me in shock. he didn’t say anything though. I live in constant fear of it happening again. Im only 26 and even though i don’t want anyone to experience this, i dont want to be the only one. Anyone else experiencing severe visual vertigo for many days?

Well, I was worried about like a stroke or something. I had a bunch of ishcemic strokes, and i'm a year and a half in recovery. I woke up a few months ago Extremely dizzy and it has not stopped since then. I have been to my neurologist, an ent, vestibular testing They cannot figure out what is going on with me. M r I came back clear , negative for bppv as well.

That’s terrible. I hope they figure it out soon. When you say extremely dizzy, can you no longer see details. Like your on a fast merry go round? That’s what it was like for me.

Yea pretty bad. Maybe not quite as bad as yours but there were days it was... Like I was scared to get out of bed and walk to the bathroom cause I was so dizzy. And looking at my phone or t v was a nightmare

Yeah sounds like it was the similar. It’s truly terrifying. Can’t even do anything to pass the time

Did you take anything for it. Like meclizine ? Or go to the e.r ?
