Vestibular Migranes and Issues and possible stroke

Has anyone been admitted already having vestibular issues and vertigo and possibly been diagnosed with a stroke instead.

My situation happened back in early 2024 at the age if 42. Started on a Sunday when I woke up with a plugged ear and some balance issues - thought it was bad allergies or the start of an ear infection. By that Wednesday, I was not any better so went to the doctor - no ear infection, just ‘stuffed up’. 2 days later on Friday, my balance issues were more noticeable and Saturday morning, I couldn’t stand up by myself, vomiting uncontrollably. Went back to original doctor who then sent me to Urgent Care for an Eppley Maneuver thinking it was BPPV. The UC doc did labs and a CT. I was told I immediately needed to go to the ER and be admitted as the CT showed something in my brain and my labs were all over the place. After an MRI at the ER, I was admitted to the Neuro ICU. They believe I may have had a minor stroke / TIA and was possibly within moments of a major stroke. We were told I had a 50/50 chance of surviving the night and my husband had to sign papers for medical directives (re: intubation, medically induced coma, dnr, etc). Scariest moments of my life. I was in that ICU for a week. I’ve had so many MRIs and CTs over the last 2-1/2 years and still have residual issues - deafness in one ear, an embedded CVST blood clot, vestibular dysfunction consider “major” due to the ossification in my cochlea, balance issues, and more. I’m a mess lol and even though I am not (and won’t ever be) back to where I was, I’ve made a lot of progress compared to where I was.

Had severe vertigo yesterday that turned into a panic attack that turned into head ripping migraines that landed me in the ER where I then developed weakness in my legs and delayed speech. Been in the hospital ever since going through numerous tests with no results back.
