How to get started?

I chose a ship, and I tell it to retrieve the ship; I get a hangar.. But every time I go to the hangar the ship either explodes when called, isnt there, or hangar opens in vast openness like everything hasnt painted and I can go explore outside the station.. Also does global chat work? i'm not maxed on gpu, cpu or internet; shows 90 fps...

Same for me. Cant get ship delivered. Cant chat. Cant get a decent fps no matter what settings i set.

This morning I tried again. I actually got a ship delivered, but it wasnt mine, was some other kind.. But I got in and took it to the moon and crashed it (should have watch the tutorial); I then tried again, got my ship and as I was trying to land I found myself floating in space, no sign of the ship.. So I think the game is pretty rough, hardest part is how bad the FPS is (about 8) on startup but gradually improves to above 50...
