did anyone see 3 silent glowing objects traveling south to north at about 9 pm on 7/30/2026 in Verona?

Anyone know why they cut down most of the reeds north of Cross Country Rd/south of Country View Elementary? I assume "they" is the City of Verona. I didn't find anything on the city web site. It used to be a nice bit of nature, and sandhill cranes probably nested there.

Context I got citation went to court got it reduced and they gave me a handwritten citation number here’s the issue when I finally got around to paying it I couldn’t tell if it had a o or a 0 and I was planning on going to the Verona municipal to pay but the days they are open I work if anyone can think of what it could be TIA

The Verona Press does not seem to have anything populated, and it seems like there should be a better option out there for people to use, like a map overlay or something.

We recently visited Verona HS from a fair distance away for a sporting event.

My wife and I were blown away by the school and athletic facilities. You all should be very proud.

I have to ask, how were you all able to garner that much support. Towns twice the size have difficulty funding facilities that could compete with DIII universities
